Marvel Crossover reissued for Avengers Movie |

I was complaining about this since March at Toyfair, and even to Hasbro at BotCon (saying that it was a wasted opportunity not reissuing the Crossovers toys, that already exist, for the Avengers Movie)... and it seems someone at Hasbro did have the same idea. It's just that no one from the Transformers Division knew about it (Marvel and Star Wars Crossovers are not done by the Transformers Division).

TF Ride exclusive Allspark cube |

Now that the US TF Ride has had its advance screening to annual ticket holders, an exclusive item has been bought and reviewed here.
It is labelled as a 1:1 scale Allspark cube, but appears to be smaller than what Sam was holding in the movie.

Nominated for 4 Emmys (the Oscars for TV shows), the new Transformers Prime cartoon has already won a pre-Emmy award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation.
The Emmys are on June 23rd.

Five of the recent JP EZ (Legends class) figures in their Chronicle series are being re-released, in shiny paint jobs.
Optimus, Gen2 Megatron, Prowl, Starscream, Hot Rodimus.
The colours appear to be the same, just in a metallic gloss.
Due for release on July 30th.

The Bot Shots site now offers new levels of 'play'. Mirage has finally been unlocked in Adventure Mode! You can buy extra bot shots (if you have a lot of energon), power ups, and enter 'codes' for other extras. (I have heaps of Bot Shots toys, but none of them have had a code yet. I'm hoping that's because Wave 3 isn't out here yet, not because European Bot Shots don't come with them.) There are also lots of new characters to play with and against (and the 'computer' uses... Hasbro MP Optimus coming to Australia October |

Just rang up Hasbro Australia, asking if we will be getting the Masterpiece Optimus Prime here, since it will be in America soon (a ToysRUs exclusive).
From the product manager (via Customer Service, who put me on hold to ask) I was told that it was offered to retailers here, but none would take it at this time...
I've now rung up ToysRUs, just in case... and it was lucky I did.

Possible Deluxe Class price rise in New Financial Year |

Something I noticed (which seems to have missed other people at BotCon who were too busy looking at the toys to notice the product info labels), is
that the Deluxe Class might be having a price rise in the new financial year. (or someone at Hasbro misprinted the labels)
They had an increase about 3 years ago from US$10 to US$13 (recommended, plus tax... most stores were selling them at US$12 though).
