Anyone read this? how is the art? i want to buy this series but not sure of quaity of story

First issue is out, with the fourth issue out just in time for the movie.

This is the one that leads directly into TF3... similar to the TF2 prequel Alliance.

Art is crap. still. Story - it seems like ss is working byhimself and shockwave is working with megs and goes to earth to get ss back on their side for unity in dcon ranks.

longarm and red pick up die by shockwave. Some autobots were taking by "someone" so are not themselves fully, tf tech is in the hands of humans thanks to ss.

skystalker dies and divebomb. Fearswoop is captured. All arcee twins are there. Astrotrain looks like a mess on paper.

I'm personally unimpressed with the way they drew Longarm's face... blargh.

Is it true Hasbro veto'd IDW using Shockwave's DOTM movie design? Because yeah when they announced Rising Storm they showed the cover with the silhouette of a quite clearly DOTM Shockwave design, yet for the release they haved changed it.... And Shocky looks like a poor man's G1 version in this as a consequence.

It doesn't really make sense to me, his toy has already been leaked, so has his CG model in the DOTM game trailer. Most people who give a damn, already know what movie Shockwave looks like
