Hey guys,

I was trawling through eBay, as normal :p, when I stumbled upon this (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/TRANSFORMERS-Demons-Chronicfe-God-Robot-VOLTRON-/370472961428?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5641e8c594):

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this guy? or even possibly translate the writing in the first pic? :o
You see, anyone who has read any of my posts would probably know that I'm an Ancient Egypt Fanatic! and this set looks Absolutely Awesome to me and I'd like to know a little bit more if I could. ;):)
Any information would be greatly appreciated. :D

I saw some of these in second hand stores at Japan I couldn't tell you the name of this toy, but I can tell you that it was sold in marked (non random) trading figure style boxes and each component comes separately.

As a trading kit set I would not expect it to be that high quality, In other words I don't think its worth $70 even MISB, so be aware it's unlikely to be Transformer quality.

There are also other in the series, but they are not Egyptian themed.

Try doing search using keywords like Trading kit and combiner maybe?

I believe that is a Mugen Pharaoh from the Machine Robo Mugenbine series of toys by Ban Dai

I knew they looked powerangery :p

Yep, I reckon Lint is correct.

The text has their names, MugenAnubis, MugenRa, MugenScorpion, MugenSphinx and MugenSepeku. Combined, of course being MugenPharaoh, as Lint said.

This was released as a continuation to the Machine Robo Mugenbine series after Bandai decided it wasn't viable to give them regular releases. These are really candy toy releases.

Aww, I was hoping it'd be a bigger toy.

Looks good.
Found an African themed (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Machine-Robo-Mugenbine-Moushinjuu-candy-toy-set-6-1-/260737887190?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cb5306bd6) one.
Different style, but interesting how they built a shield for it and kept it skinny as opposed to the big bulk the Egyptian one has

Awesome!!! :D:D:D
Thank you very much guys for your help as I've found that Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mugenbine#Candy_Toy_series) has a bit of information on them, whilst also now having proper names and brands to attach to them when trying to search for them. :D:cool:

They certainly do appear to be on a similar, yet more intricate and involving, par as the Transformers Kabaiya Candy kits - So that being said, how would you rate their construction and feel Gekisou?

That also looks pretty damn cool as whilst I really like Mugen Pharaoh's proportions, I dig the African one's dimensions too as it resembles that of an African Zulu Warrior!:cool:
