DOTM Legends Preview Pack found at US Retail

This definitely slipped under our radars, but this was found today in a Transformers Dark of the Moon Optimus Prime Limited Edition Preview Pack was found in Toys R Us by our member Timothy.R.

A legends sized Optimus Prime is packaged in a Transformers Dark of the Moon-branded blister along with a pair of cheap red and blue 3D glasses.

The glasses may be used to view exclusive content on Transformers.com, according to the text on the package.

The preview pack is costs $9.99 US

That's really early for a preview wave. I think the previous 2 Preview waves came out in April.

As I reported in the AUS Toyfair report, this item is not coming here, or even any other US stores... because it was apparently a last minute special promo item that only US TRU were willing to pick up.

So for those interested, Seibertron have put up (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/toys/dark-of-the-moon/optimus-prime/2323/) a big gallery of pics of this new mould Scout class figure (now called Commander class - which is the same size as PCC Commanders).

But don't worry that we would be missing this figure completely, as it doesn't appear to be a redeco... it looks like the Optimus toy we will get in the general release toyline, just without the 3D glasses.

Just noticed that this Preview Optimus is actually a Scout class figure, not Legends class. Or as they are now calling the Scout class - Commander Class.
