First Sighting of Thor Movie Toys?

I've just come back from Target in Bendigo, Vic and they have what looks like Wave 1 of the new Thor Movie toys out. $18 for the normal figs, $22 for the special equipment figure packs. They also had the Thor helmet costum things there.

PS. Where do non-TF related first sightings go?

PPS. Looks like the case breakdown is roughly:
1x Loki
1x Odin
1x Frost Giant
3x Lightning Clash Thor
3x Battle Hammer Thor
3x Sword Spike

PPPS. I bought the Frost Giant even though these will probably be $6 each next year. :D Might go back and get Odin and Loki tomorrow. ;)

That's a shame... my school's sport houses are all named after Norse deity, so I'm kinda tempted to pick up a Thor and Odin as gifts for their respective house teachers. ;)

If you mean the light up hammer figure where you push on Thor's head, your chances are good of finding one. However if your looking for one that works properly... I'd say you'll have your work cut out for you. :)

Out of the 3 at my local, one worked fine, one didn't work at all and the other was... difficult and intermitant.

The Thor figures are great. Good detail, no sloppy paint on the ones I bought

Got Thor, the one with his hammer and sword that opens, and Odin.

I think I am gonna wait till they release a Loki with his helmet before I get one, just did not like the look of the current toy.

And hey, you can remove Thor's cape :D for extra pose-able poses :D

Picked up the Thor toys today cos they were on sale Reg figs 14 and Deluxe figs 16 and I had spare cash so i got 'em. They're neat. Not a big fan of the clunky sword accesories but still good toys.
Waiting for the Helmeted versions tho.

I've been to Target, Big W, Kmart and Toy world stores all over the Perth metro area looking for that hammer, and all I can find is the helmet. My little fella is a big Thor fan (because of super hero squad), and I really want to get him that hammer for his 5th birthday on the 29th of this month.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? At this point I don't care too much about postage, just that it gets here in time.

Sorry man, I don't think the hammer has arrived in Australia yet... but if they do appear, you can expect to see them en masse.

Got the hammer in the post yesterday from Hong Kong. It's pretty cool: the hammer head itself is soft so the boy will be able to hit things with it, plus it shoots a little lightning bolt and has lights and thunder effects and all that stuff. I got him a helmet, red cape and a little chainmail shirt to go with it too. He's going to love it. :)

So have the Thor toys over in Australia become more plentiful since the movie started screening?I almost broke my "no movie toys" resolve when I saw just how cool the characters were on the big screen.

I've heard that Hasbro NZ will not be sending any Thor or Captain America lines to NZ, so that's a bit of a downer. I will have to live the line vicariously through you guys I guess.

I'm guessing the movie had some effect, as the local Target (the only place around here with Thor toys) is almost sold out of wave 1. There's about 4 figures left on the shelves and no sign of wave 2 or even a restock.

I'm also assuming the Cap toys will be appearing later in the year. I'll be all over these as I'm a huge Cap fan.
