Bloodshed, to put simply, is the genocidal type. So he's going to be decked out with a wide variety of weapons, including (well hopefully) a nice whip.

Based on the Energon Shockblast mode i've followed Jin's lead and used Energon Barricade's arms to replace ES' original arms, and to get rid of that huge honking gun arm ... to be replaced with an ordinary arm that can have a huge honking gun attached to it. :p

Just one pic for now as all i've done is put the new arms on.

So Gore needs a new buddy?

No.

It is a Zoid's weapon, don't ask me for which unit though as it was from an add-on pack.

The hose is actually a removable whip so he can toss the big gun aside and go Indiana Jones melee style.

Very Nice Mate! :)

Do you remove the pins before you get to work or do you tackle it "Jin style" & leave him intact?

In this case I removed most of the pins. Sometimes though they can be difficult/impossible because of molding that I have to go "Jin style".

Didn't know he did that actually. Definitely not my preferred method.

Was there any dye involved?

Burn

HA! No. Absoloutely not.

I don't think i'll be dying anymore TF's.

Heh, at a glance it reminds me of Char Aznable's Zaku. *imagines Bloodshed as a super-deformed plushie* :D

I like it :)

The matt colours work well (I'm guessing you've used matt colours ;)) while I can tell you've put alot of effort into masking off various components :) - Do you use tape or aluminium foil?

When all is complete you'll get the alt mode(s).

I only ever use matt colours these days. Just don't like the glossy stuff and TF's shouldn't shine anyway.

Masking? errrr .... no. Steady hand, dodgy eyes, and a lot of patience. :p

Terribly terribly slack of me. I finished him a while back but only got around to processing pics and doing up a page for him.

Then when I went to upload things I discovered i've actually met my limit on my ISP webspace ... so off to Photobucket I went.
Time to start looking around for serious webhosting I guess.

Anyhoo! On with the show!

Great Stuff Mate! :)

His altmode reminds me of Animated Shockwave... (you wouldn't have borrowed any ideas? ;))

Burn
26th October 2008, 05:45 PM
Definitely not. Considering he was well under way long before we started seeing pics of A-Shockwave.

Whoa that's awesome! I love all the extra weapons you've managed to fit on. and the paint's very nice. Not a flashy/reflective colour but its solid and strong.

I couldn't view it - said an error. Maybe reached quota?
I'll try again later.
I have seen most of your other works though on your customs page, so would expect it to look just as good.
And don't mind our lovable Roller - he just posts random 'thoughts' at times.

hmmmm ... let me know if it keeps giving trouble. I just tried and it worked fine.

I did reach my space limit through Dodo, hence the pictures being hosted on Photobucket.
