All I need is this (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/TRANSFORMERS-G1-SPRINGER-HELICOPTER-BLADE_W0QQitemZ360046633870QQihZ023QQcategoryZ4696 QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp16 38Q2em118Q2el1247) to make my guy 100% complete but I can't justify spending $70 on it shipped when an encore may only be a months or even a couple years away.

Keep searching, eventually you will get a decent price. I kept searching for my Cyclonus gun only finding crazy prices until one guy had it at a reasonable cost.

when an encore may only be a months or even a couple years away.

After hearing the announcement of Encore Metroplex, my hunt for G1 Metroplex ended instantly. I'd been watching eBay for Cerebros and Spike, but that's now on hold based on Takara's recent trend of release large Encore TFs.

After hearing the announcement of Universe/Classics Ironhide and the hopefully inevitable Ratchet, my search for 2005 Botcon Ironhide and Ratchet has now ended.

I think there is also a distinct possibility that we might see Henkeii Seekers as long as they're "different" (which isn't that hard a task).

I'm having a very hard time rationalizing ANY vintage investment now!!!

That's crazy, you can find decent complete figures for $70.

Me too, apart from lost mould bots I'm holding out for encores.

Is there any accurate source for this list?

Don't let this discourage you TDD (Someday you'll find one for $65 shipped :p)

How does that song go? "Somewhere over the rainbow..." :D

... this guy's stash of magic mushrooms.

He'd have to be smoking something harmful to arrive at a postage cost that high

It's likely cheaper to buy a complete Springer!

With postage costs like that, this guy must think that everyone in Australia has their own pot of gold from the end of rainbows...

It is Express Mail, the highest tier.

I think some OS sellers don't think things through or research properly and just set up the postage calculator.
Had one US or Canadian seller just recently give me $4.95 postage when I asked him about it.
I would ask here as well but I just think $37 for such a small accessory is too much.

Report him for excessive postage.

I'd wager it would have $2.35 for express post on it when you got it. :D

I paid a similar price for the shoes I received yesterday ($US50) which was EMS. I can't see something that's basically letter sized costing that much, even by EMS.

TDD's right, this seller isn't quoting a realistic price. Whether it's lack of effort, lack of willingness or just plain markup, I'd be letting it go also.

I know there's so many
Sites that sell robots
And all their accessories

Plastic provisions
And fanbait delusions
But never the piece that I need

So we've been told and some choose to believe it
I know they're wrong, wait and see
Someday I'll find it, complete my collection
With everything M-I-S-B!

...

Who said that ev'ry bid
Would win what you fancied
That last piece of plastic you crave
The closer you get to it
The further it wanders
Will you chase it into the grave?

Is this, our calling, so deadly enthralling?
Rest and you'll live longer, see?
And if my advice makes you hesitate twice
Then I'll swoop in and grab it for ME!

All of it there on my shelf
My life now complete - is that tra-gic?...

...

Have you been half asleep?
And did you check eBay?
That would explain what you bid

Three hundred smackers
For two Thundercrackers
And half of the Build Team from RiD

I've heard it too many times to ignore it
The plastic crack calls out to me
Someday I'll find it, complete my collection
With everything M-I-S-B!

Laa, da daa dee da daa daa,
La laa la la laa dee daa doo... MINE!

It took me 3 minutes to read it because I had to sing it in my head as I went along.

Very well done!!! Thank you for sharing!

About five-ten minutes. Filk's been a bit of a hobby of mine for years - I can crank out doggerel pretty much on the spot, given a starting point.

Is this meant to be sung to Rainbow Connection or is it a stand alone rap? Cause I'm finding it really hard to sing to RC (helps if I actually remember the f'ing tune) but rapping it on its own is fine!!

RC all the way!!! The only part I can't sing are these bitsr:

All of it there on my shelf
My life now complete - is that tra-gic?...

<snip>

Laa, da daa dee da daa daa,
La laa la la laa dee daa doo... MINE!
