Nemesis Skylynx - or the golden bird WIP

Hi,

This one is dedicated to Roller... Its a little different from the Nem Skylynx you refer to in episode 3 as I made it a little more mechanic. Hope you like it. I think it does stand out next to the original. I did make him a decepticon as it is appropriate on the darker persona.

Still have another coat of paint to put on but here is the WIP.

Added Minicon holder as I always thought Skylynx should have someway of carrying a load.

Thats all. Dont have a spare lynx so will have to live with just the bird.

A few areas to note that were completely custom painted - entire bird body to black, wings to gold, teeth gold, neck, feet and tail silver, hatch purple - the new black.

Added weapons on tail, turret on right wing, and minicon carrier/launcher on the left wing.

I never would have thought G1s were repaint/kitbash fodder (it must of been a real junker) but nevertheless, not a bad concept/execution at all! It looks pretty damn good! :)

Thanks for the comments all. I will post updated in transformed mode once I have completed the second coat. Yes, G1 usually isnt but I had a spare and he's not as good quality on the white as the other as it was a little old. Rather than refurbishing him, I decided to make a new figure for my collection. Glad you guys like it. I havent done a custom for a while so this one was good to get back into it.
