Unreleased prototypes for GIJoe (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/conventions-15/gi-joe-omega-supreme-plus-arctic-baroness-with-ravage-171841/) in the 80s appeared to use Transformers, including Ravage and a significant portion of the Omega Supreme toy...
So not only were the two franchises crossing over in the comic and cartoon, but on occasions Hasbro have been testing the concept in the toy realm. Snowcat and the upcoming SDCC exclusives are inspired creations that have made it to production... but imagine if those ideas from the 80s were produced. Who here would buy them?

In the late 80's early 90's I was more into GiJoe than I was TFs... so I would have spent every red cent I had on the toys, if they had actually crossed over.

How dare G.I. Joe think about stealing these Transformers moulds which Transformers stole from Microman and Mechabot-1!! :p :P

Transformer moulds have been used in other Takara lines. For example, Action Master Optimus Prime's trailer was repainted as a vehicle in Microman (as can be seen at the bottom of one of the TF Car Robot catalogues). And I think Sky Garry was also repainted for another line too.

It's interesting how that Not-Ravage mould looks entirely new rather than a repaint of the original Microman-Ravage mould... I wonder if Hasbro were planning on using this mould for Transformers too.

Joemega Supreme... lol. ;)
