It's the same toy, but comes with two different accessories (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/new-image-of-dark-of-the-moon-mechtech-optimus-primes/21275/) - a gun or an axe... it looks like the axe version could be an exclusive version, or a JP only version, but I can't tell for sure at this stage.

They are both ridiculously ugly... I mean a HALF translucent toy? Or an ugly tattoo'd toy?
The axe is cool though...

The one in the back (regular release Voyager Prime) is a weird test shot missing most of his roof paint. This is what he's supposed to look like. (http://www.hk-tf.com/discuz/upload/viewthread.php?tid=20187&extra=page%3D1) Considering the Japanese name of "Space Optimus", one presumes the clear panels are solar panels or something for a scene set in space.

I think the second one (that we've known about for awhile), is decoed to look like he's on fire or something. I see Kirby dots (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kirby_dots) in his deco.
