Ive seen alot of talk on here about bad service. So which one is the best for price and service????

Vodafone you pay $20 and get $20 credit but it lasts a few months
Optus you pay $20 and get $100 credit but it lasts only a month

Note: $20 is an example

i would say.. go for the mobile service provider that most of your friends are using.
it will generally cover free outgoing calls to the same provider which then benefits you the most...

Go vodafone, it's like throwing your money off a bridge, except a bridge that you can only get to 2% of the time. The rest of the time it is being serviced.
Good value :P

I have to say F*** Vodafone. Had no service whatsoever yesterday with messages. Had nothing but problems with them over the last year. Been thinking of switching myself, but haven't yet.

There is a reason vodaphone is having a class action lawsuit against them ;)
I use optus and they are ok nothing too special I have more problems with my iphone 4 itself than provider.

I've been with 3 for over 6 years in Canberra, Brisbane & Perth and don't have a bad word to say about them. Recently extended my contract and updated my phone to an HTC Desire HD which arrived in the post in 2 days. :D Also, most of my friends are on either 3 or Vodafone which = free calls mobile to mobile.

Given you can get reception...
I live on a main road on the beach and I don't get reception with 3.
Well, that's a lie, I get like one bar... But it constantly drops out of phone calls on me.

Hmm, maybe the whale sonar is interfering with the mobile radio frequencies. :p

You know, don't believe anything you've read in this thread about Vodafone. They're not as bad as the others have made them out to be.

They're much much MUCH worse.
