Originally Inferno transmetalised but legal issues with the name so they called it scavenger. Taktom called it Inferno because they had no issues in Japan. I like this figure, he looks crazed! 3rd mode is nice something different from the flying stuff. His pinchers rotate around and he can still fly. Hard to pose in ant mode but far easier than the original inferno figure. Can be difficult to stand in bot mode from back heaviness and also fiddly skinny legs/feet.

Name change wasn't due to legal reasons (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Scavenger_%28BW%29#Notes), as the name 'Inferno' was never lost by Hasbro and used quite often (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Inferno). There's no doubt it was meant to be a Transmetal Inferno, but it was never officially stated why it had a name-change.

Would have been interesting redecoed in orange, and called Unicron...
