Talk about a double edged sword. I like that i have a few months to save up the cash for all the wonderful toys that I want to get. But I have to wait soooooo long to buy any toys I actually want. Oh what is a guy to do?

I calculated a list of all TFs I'll be hunting later this year and the bill was $3,124 between Classics/Animated/Encore/Henkei/Marvel/SDCC/TFM.

With that sort of money, I could finish my G1 collecting but looking at it now I might only grab 10-15 G1 figures for the rest of the year now. :( But I guess I can wait especially w/ so many Encores on the way now.

The only thing I didn't count was Slammers/Activators though I must say the Activator concept might win me over yet which means more money.

But yes, big year ahead and hopefully the sales will be well-timed. :)

Won't be a huge problem for me - only some Classics, some Encore, the 6" Titaniums, some SWTF and some Hobby stuff. Looking forward to it (:

I am skipping the Animated line so no issue with me there.

However I still have lots of G1 to go and many of the coming Henkei/Classics 2.0 appeal to me as well as as a few Universe.

As always the biggest cost will come from getting G1 figures although I have managed to get most of the heavy hitters.

better start saving , sigh. But then I have a house to furnish so that'll keep me spending while the TFs aint here yet. As for what Im getting its most of the Animated (no double versions/variant coloring) and most of the Universe/classic2.0 line - new mold. Non of the repaint ones like that unimaginative Universe Blaster ( Cyb soundwave repaint, ugh). If the MArvel TFs look kinda good I may pick em up otherwise , if they look so "trying to be TFs" , meh....

Erm what are "activators" figures anyway?

i wonder if the TFC will make custom doodads to attach onto Ironhide's hands:rolleyes:

I'm pretty much in the buy them all category, but I prefer not to think about how much money that all ads up to...

Me too, on both counts... :)

BT 19 - 22, future Encores and Henkei are already enough to kill me... :(

Don't even want to think about Animated...

:o:o:o

Due to the fact that I physically can not wait for these new moulds from Classics 2.0, I just pre-ordered Sunstreaker/Prowl/Octane/Powerglide/Onslaught from BBTS. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/menu.aspx?menu=1679

:o:o:o

You can add Galvatron to that list as well :o

These 2 Cybertron moulds of "Blaster & Heavy Load" can bite me :)

Geez! Who's naming these toys??

I'm pretty sure it's the same stooge who named the Animated villain "Angry Archer" after himself...

Actually, the Animated Cartoon prodution team owned up to that, throwing it in as a nod to Aaron Archer, who himself didn't know about it until it was set as being a confirmed character in the cartoon.

Yeah, but when A. Archer screws up so many other things in the TF Universe - it's easy to blame him for one more ;)

griffin has done a wonderful job reporting Botcon'08!

I so have to start saving, since my list includes several Voyagers, and those are freaking expensive.

I'll pass on the Animated Activators and Bumper Battles-while Activators Starscream may be more cartoon-accurate than his Voyager toy, I think I like his bigger toy better.
