Prowl reporting for duty

Hi Guys,

I am a new member who has recently decided to start reliving his childhood by buying the Transformers I grew up with. I only have a small collection so far but plan on growing it as finances permit.

Currently I have

Prowl (obviously!)
Jazz
Smokescreen
Sideswipe
Thundercracker
Skywarp

I am waiting to receive

Brawn
Gears
Kup

I don't know if it is kosher but I open the boxes & apply the stickers & display them. I don't see the point in keeping a MISB Transformer if I can't play with the sucker.

Anyways great to find a TF forum in OZ.

Opening them up is great, so you can admire them for what they were intended to do, Transform :p

Some people do like to keep MISB, but it's personal choice really, so don't feel bad about opening them up :D

And a collection is always a personal thing as well, no matter how small it is, it's yours :) (and take some photos and post them in here (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/forumdisplay.php?f=15) at some stage, we always enjoy admiring others collections :))

Whatever floats your boat mate - personally I usually buy 2 (or more) - one to open and display (maybe fiddle, but not play) and one to keep MISB/MOSC.

The only reason I have transformers in boxes myself is because I haven't gotten around to getting them out yet.

Like the others said, it's your collection, you can do what you like with it, as long as you enjoy it.:cool:

Thats my way of thinking. I am waiting on some more OG G1's to arrive & I will put up some pics of what I have.

I just love Transformers & after "playing" with my Jazz reissue I am not surprised that I broke him the day I got him as a kid :)

I don't honestly have a opinion on those & have no knowledge on them. I only really like the G1's right now as that is what I grew up with.
