Courtesy of Seibertron.com (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/justitoys-mp05-megatron-addon-preorder-at-bbts/21526/), BBTS has just posted a pre-order page (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=JIT10003&mode=retail&picture=aux2) for the Reissue of Justitoys MP05 Masterpiece Megatron Gun Stock Add-on set.

The set is comprised of:

- Gunstock
- New die-cast leg panels to allow the stock to attach
- Silencer

The set combines to form a battle platform just like the original G1 Megatron toy had, plus the new reissue is set to come with a pre-applied orange cap to comply with US gun laws.

I have this set, but with a yellow cap (first issue) which Ive finally pried out hehehehe. It's awesome, coz It makes MP Megs' legs heavy thereby making more stable. he doesnt lean anymore to the side when I put his uber big Fusion Cannon like before. :D:D:D

So this add-on adds to the strength and rigidity of the figure's legs does it?

I have this set and it's very good. The large leg plates are actually metal and makes the figure much more stable as well as more 'MP' worthy.

However I wish somebody would make waist replacements as those are the ones that actually break.

Unfortunately this set does make Megatron look like a RL sniper rifle so it would be pretty illegal. I bought mine locally.

Yeah, if your prolly a six footer or one of em Rugby/footy Players, this would easily fit their big hands and look real lifelike gun now with all the stock trimmings:). I bought mine thru RK,

@kup - I know what you mean about the waist thingie, those side plates of his are actually in the way when your trying to transform the figure and easily falls off. I keep em off when Im transforming ( rarely) the figure to gun mode. As of the moment thoguh Ive kept him in bot mode. Sadly my figure's feet attachement portion to the balljoint at the ankles have cracks in em, which is why Im reluctant to fiddle with this figure now.

@ Hursty the metal plates (matte black color)that you attach make the legs (they can be seen in the pic you got as the side ones elevated) more heavier thereby eliminating the top heavy issue with MP megs that makes him keel over when his Fusion cannon is attached. Also it has the heel parts that is needed for the shoulder extension to attach to. I really like how they made it well to blend with the original figure.

Would there be any concerns with customs on importing this add-on set to Melbourne? They are just accessories, not the 'MP5' itself?

I think that they would go through as customs are not actively looking for them but it's risky as if one of them decides to take a look, the kit does indeed look like accessories for a real gun.

OH wow. I just realised THAT'S why my MP Megs keeps toppling over. He doesn't have his heavy diecast metal leg panels on.
Gotta get them out of storage. BTW Guys this a great set and I highly recommend getting. Much like the Add on Trailer for Optimus Prime this set makes your Masterpiece Megatron finally feel complete.

I'd be tempted if RK got them in and we could guarantee that the NSW customs wouldn't have a fit. :o

Well hopefully not, coz I got mine from RK (group order with my cousin's stuff) before and NSW customs didnt withhold it.

Well if you've had luck before Liege it might be worth a go so, if/when RK list a Restock I might do a group order for those in the Illawarra. :)

Well, RK had the original release's listing at $39.90USD (http://www.robotkingdom.com/services/eshop/main.php?action=details&CatType=&II=TFTRMP05ACC&lang=us&CatID=) - So hopefully if they're able to get a hold of some of the new sets, they'll list them at a similar price - Hopefully. :o

Robot Kingdom have these up as a pre oreder here:

http://www.robotkingdom.com/services/eshop/main.php?action=details&CatType=Category&II=TFTRMP05ACC&lang=us&CatID=73

at $39.90. Should we risk it?

Hmm...

It is awfully tempting, maybe we should wait until we can get a guarantee? - I'll send a PM to someone who might have an educated idea. :o
