I use to love these guys, wish I could remember what happened to all of them. Always wanted the hovercraft one but sadley it never happened

I had and loved a stack of these! They were conveniently stored in a big lunchbox ... which unfortunately got thrown out at some point by my mum in one big go :(

Here's a site listing some (http://www.virtualtoychest.com/p/pocketpower/pocketpower.html)...

From memory, i had:
Helicopter
Motorcycle
Turbo Prop
Indy Racer
Top Fueler Drag Car
Speed Boat
Hovercraft
UFO
Water Pistol

Prolly some more i'm forgetting... these have been on my 'need to rebuy' list for quite some time!

Mums can be so insenstive. I had a box of original Masters of the Universe, all in great condition (there was lots) as well as some vehicles, animals and the 2 castles (Castle Greyskull and Snake Mountain?) but she threw them all away. Was not happy when I found out. Even less happy when I discovered she kept some broken plastic thing in case any future grandkids would come to play

I think in my case, 'thrown out' meant given to needy children etc, so that makes it a bit better :)

Well i just went from having these as a kid, to losing them as a teenager, to re-aquiring them as an adult!
I couldn't get all the ones i had (yet!), but i got a few of them, plus 2 newies that i didn't have at all!
Pics when they arrive!!

Motorcycle is one i haven't seen pop up i'm afraid :(
It was one of my favourites even though it took some real skill just to get it to go 50cm without skidding over!
Works best on vinyl floors! :D

Hoohoo baby, the first of my recent splurges on Pocket Powers has arrived, and it's none other than the outlawed in some countries and extremely rare, RAPID FIRE MACHINE GUN!

Haven't tried it out yet but it's in good nick, pictures and impressions once i've popped a cap in my wife's ass later on! :D

In summary, pure Awesome!
I can't believe i managed to get one with all the bullets...
Already i've had to move my couch to find the little buggers!
They fire about 7 metres from a standing still position!

The glorious return of Pocket Power continues!
I just took receipt of 2 packages containing a total of 7 Pocket Power toys!!
Pics later tonight of:
Helicopter
Indy Racer
UFO
Turbo Prop
Top Fueler
Baseball
and still on card (can't see it staying that way for long!), G.I. Supply!!
Stay tuned!

The mother load!

Baseball
This one appears to be missing 3 little pegs that a) store in a compartment on the back, and b) mark the runners in a game. The ball is moved to the pitcher with the switch to the right, using a magnet beneath the pitch. You swing with the little lever front left, and can keep the score using the dial on the left.
http://australian-postcodes.com/pocket-power/baseball.JPG

Indy Racer
A spring loaded car and some barrels that can outline a track or be obstacles to bowl through! The case has a swing out piece that angles up for launches!
http://australian-postcodes.com/pocket-power/indy-racer.JPG
http://australian-postcodes.com/pocket-power/indy-racer-action.JPG

Thunder Blade
The basic rip-cord helicopter! Pull the cord and it flies off. This one works a treat!
http://australian-postcodes.com/pocket-power/thunder-blade.JPG
http://australian-postcodes.com/pocket-power/thunder-blade-action.JPG

Turbo Prop
Another rip-cord flying one, this one is my favourite design, but doesn't grip so well on the launching point, so it doesn't fly off so cleanly.
http://australian-postcodes.com/pocket-power/turbo-prop.JPG
http://australian-postcodes.com/pocket-power/turbo-prop-action.JPG

UFO
The final rip-cord flyer, this one seems to fly the best!
http://australian-postcodes.com/pocket-power/ufo.JPG
http://australian-postcodes.com/pocket-power/ufo-action.JPG

Top Fueler
Rip-cord powered again, you hold this in your hand before dropping it onto the floor and watching it scoot away.
http://australian-postcodes.com/pocket-power/top-fueler.JPG
http://australian-postcodes.com/pocket-power/top-fueler-action.JPG

G.I. Supply
This is an Italian version, and has a card-back i haven't seen before! Seems they only released some of the line over there. It doubles as a firing turret that can raise up & down (with grenade!), and a pen, eraser, sharpener and ruler/stencil set!

Of the ones i've got now, the 2 guns and baseball are all new - the others i had as a child. The hunt for the remaining childhood ones gets more difficult with each acquisition - but i wont give up!

Last week picked up my personal favourite, the Trick Squirt water gun! Will post pics later!

But, i'm excited today because i just nabbed the elusive Motorcycle from Ebay!!

That leaves me with 2 childhood ones remaining: Hovercraft and Speed Boat. The damn Hovercraft is on Ebay right now but missing a piece i'll never find anywhere else :(
And of the known Series 1/2 releases, only 3 more, Top Fight, Glo-Bones & Target Master.
Series 3 (which isn't really well known what it consisted of) remains a long lost mystery.

I had Thunderblade! I totally forgot about these! I had a car one too but I've forgotten what it looks like.

Car wise there is just the Indy Racer and Dragster above.
Series 3 apparantly had a red car of some sort as seen here (http://www.virtualtoychest.com/p/pocketpower/pocketpower.html)... but nowhere else! So it's a mystery, i wonder if you had that one!!

Here's a pic of the Trick Squirt before i opened it up after 20+ years of sealage!

nooooooooooooooooo! (http://nooooooooooooooo.com/)
A Glo-bones in good condition has a appeared on Ebay, but even with 4 days to go has already cracked $30 US (+ the $15 shipping the seller quoted me).
Just too costly methinks :(

Have fell behind with my acquisitions recently - i have the Top Fight, Roadblaster (motorcycle) and Hovercraft to add to the collection now!

That leaves 3 Series 1 & 2 items to get, unfortunately, they're not going to come cheap, particularly Glo-Bones.. i had seen one go for $70 US but just recently another went for twice that amount! (http://www.ebay.com/itm/260978761086?_trksid=p5197.c0.m619#ht_500wt_741) Plus i lost some auctions for the second gun, Target Master... i was insta-outbid twice (tried my luck again with a higher amount) and it went for $52 to someone else dammit!

In the spirit of Search Engine Marketing i happily present these awesome Pocket Power video reviews (http://www.youtube.com/user/TetsmcBooger?feature=watch) Tetsuwan Convoy has been making for me! These will eventually (hopefully before the end of time) be going up on a mini-site (http://www.pocketpowertoys.com) i'm working on - but in the meantime check em out on YouTube, they're great! I think Tets is about half-way done so stay tuned for more as well!
