I just had a closer look and it seems to be (an extremely well done) repaint, retool of HFTD Tomahawk

Um... yes that's what it is. (Did you click on the article, LCO?) Many of the DOTM toys are going to be repaints/retools of existing Deluxes with MechTech weapons (Vortex, Air Raid, Arcee, etc.)

just checked amiami again and they have some in stock again, i grabbed 1. i dont order from bbts since im effectively paying for shipping to america and then shipping to australia... i'll have a look at hlj's price later though

As tempting as it is to order, I need to wait for more stuff to be released (and reviewed) to ward of the expensive shipping charges.

Colours and new head look good, but it's a pretty flimsy, cheap-feeling mould. Undecided.

Hasbro should release it eventually as well, as they had the alternative head shown off at BotCon last year (and I think this was one of the toys that had the different head on the instructions, as a sneak peak of an upcoming figure).
