My first acquisition for June was technically Autobot Ark w/ Autobot Roller which I bought Autobot Yesterday... but I took it back to TRU today and got a refund (even the staff member I spoke to today agreed that $60 was too much to pay for that toy) --- so I then picked up Skyhammer for $40. Much better value IMHO :)

I'd like to get Roller and the Ark, but not at that price. :eek:

Hehe, he is indeed quite cool and I'm also glad to say that even though he's Korean - He' still top notch quality so if anyone had/s reservations about picking up any of the Korean Beast Wars figures?, worry not. ;):cool:

He bloody well is armed to the teeth there's weapons everywhere!, but it is a bit of a shame his Matrix Cannon is so damn heavy, he could've benefited from an additional peg somewhere on the gun so he could wield it with 2 hands and better distribute the weight :o, those tonfas though look awesome and are currently what he has deployed at the moment. :D

Haha, it's worth it for Roller alone mate! There's just somethin about him...The gentle purring of his motor as he scoots along the deck, the way he makes the fembots laugh, his reknowned piloting skills...What a bot!

The Ark itself is a very nice display piece if you've got the space. Kinda reminds me of those Mighty Max play sets (anyone remember those?) but on a larger scale. It's just made that much more awesome with the inclusion of ace pilot Roller :D

LOL, well... II like the look of him in both modes and I'm getting the same sort of feeling looking at him that I do when I look at Scalpel, there's just something oddly cool about his obscure Alt mode that I dig. :cool:

The Korean Transformers seem to be the same as the Japanese ones, just repackaged for the Korean market. Much like say how the early Beast Wars toys that came out in Australia were sold in European multilingual packaging, but are otherwise the exact same toys as the North American ones.

The only Korean TF with a minor difference is Brave Maximus; the Autobot logo stick on the tower is factory-applied upside down. :p Another gripe, not with the toys, is the tech spec cards. Poorly designed - but since I don't speak Korean I guess that's a moot point, but what's even weirder is that they sometimes don't come with the correct tech specs card or none at all!

Did your Big Convoy come with the right tech specs card? I might have a Korean Big Convoy tech spec card... if so, you can have it. I'm quite sure I have a Korean Magmatron tech specs card too - if so, you can have that for the Japanese box art. I have the Japanese versions, so they're superfluous to me. :)

I was never a huge fan of the original colour scheme for Galvy so getting this version was always a must, and I love the way that convoy and UM their smokestacks have been left at the original length. Still not sure whether to open starscream or not, but I had to open up jetfire, I love this version of him!

20th Anniversary MP Optimus (2004) arrived in the mail yesterday. He is really big and chunky. Why did they make him so big? He's MISB and hiding in the wardrobe so i hope he doesnt use his matrix to light his darkest hour while im at work today. LOL

Got me a DotM Thundercracker and Sideswipe last night.

The missus saw them and said "they are pretty, and you know you want them". Put them in our basket and off we went.

I spent the better part of an hour watching her struggling with Sideswipe, especially the feet. She continually gave up and went back to playing with the mechtech weapon. I see that the inteded target audienmce is enthralled by the things! :p

So the missus has expanded her "collection" by another two , I think these may be her first non yellow figures...

I really really wanted to wear one at the premiere (and all other future 3D movies) - but I just can't wear the damn thing! Especially cos I need to wear my prescription glasses underneath the mask too... you can feel how constrictive it is on your face when you don't wear glasses; when I tried wearing it with my glasses on, I could feel the mask crushing my glasses into my face!! Odds are if I wear it for an extensive period of time, my glasses will get warped! :( Maybe if I didn't have to wear glasses I could tolerate the discomfort of it just digging into my face, but yeah... not worth it if it could potentially damage my glasses

Got me yesterday some Transformers Shirts from SM (philippines) - 7 shirts with glow in the dark in some of the designs, and I can't believe they've got a shirt design I tried to submit to Jayjays :D before. Also finally caved in and got me ROTF Banzaitron coz it was on sale for $20 worth (converted)

Im still holding back on buying too much due to the upcoming ToyCon, this Saturday and I dont know what Ill be seeing there, so better safe and stock up on cash than spend much now and just look and no buy later:p

FYI beware of ebay seller un-o-cu as his packaging is appaling. A scrunched up piece of paper in a partially sealed box is not my idea of satisfactory packaging. Figure & card undamaged but I cannot overstate how bad the packaging is.

LOL. Sorry but you reminded me of how my Hasbro Screamer came. I should have taken a picture because your never gonna believe me. He came packaged inside a Takara MP Megatron box... If you know the sizes of those two boxes then you'll know there's no way screamers box would fit inside megatrons, which is exactly how it came! Stars reams box (roughly 10% of it) was protruding out of megatons box which was ripped down half the length of it and very crudely taped around and around to hold it all together. To my amazement my screamer packaging barely had a scratch on it even though it had come from England. I'd upload a pic of megs's box but haven't figure out how to do it via iPhone/pad yet (if possible?)

LOL. Sorry but you reminded me of how my Hasbro Screamer came. I should have taken a picture because your never gonna believe me. He came packaged inside a Takara MP Megatron box... If you know the sizes of those two boxes then you'll know there's no way screamers box would fit inside megatrons, which is exactly how it came! Stars reams box (roughly 10% of it) was protruding out of megatons box which was ripped down half the length of it and very crudely taped around and around to hold it all together. To my amazement my screamer packaging barely had a scratch on it even though it had come from England. I'd upload a pic of megs's box but haven't figure out how to do it via iPhone/pad yet (if possible?)

Wow that sux. I am no MOC, MISB, MIB collector as I liberate all & sundry but I get upset with poorly packaged goods as a matter or principal.

I purchased a MIB Soundwave reissue & it was wrapped in bubble wrap but the box was crushed quite badly by good ole Aus Post. Then again the amount I spent on it the seller could have used more protection on the product.

FYI beware of ebay seller un-o-cu as his packaging is appaling. A scrunched up piece of paper in a partially sealed box is not my idea of satisfactory packaging. Figure & card undamaged but I cannot overstate how bad the packaging is.

Yeah, I haven't been hugely impressed by it. But I guess it'll make more sense to me after I've seen the film - cos then when I hear each song I can relate them to whatever scene they come from... oh wait, sorry... not each song - just the songs which actually _appear_ in the film! And there's already a disclaimer on the back of the case which says that some of them won't. :mad: I really hate that... if the song isn't either in the Transformers film, or isn't singing about Transformers, then keep it off the scrappin' album!! :mad:

Speaking of which, there's no new rendition of the G1 theme in this album too. :( I was really hoping that they'd put in a new G1 theme rendition in the ending credits... alas they did not. <sigh> How cool would it be if the credits rolled with the same song used for the War For Cybertron ending theme? ;)

Well there's like walls and walls of TFs here in the shops. Was able to get pics but since i forgot my camera cable :(:(:(:(:( Ill be able to upload when i get back. While we are starved of Generations stuff they've got plenty here enough to army build and then some. I finally am able to grab me some extras for army building ( sorta heheh) and with the lowered price, it's feasible and possible. Too bad all of what I bought wont come sealed since I need to fit them neatly in my baggage.
