Using the upcoming Club figure Nightbeat, the customising class was said to be detailing it to become an evil Nightbeat as part of the Alternate Universe. But since the plastic colours are the same as the club toy, it doesn't sound like much was done other than some paint apps. The Autobot emblem was said to have a dagger shape through its centre (like Star Trek's mirror universe Federation symbol). The link below mentioned that the evil Nightbeat is included in the convention comic, and I looked, but only a little portion of the character is shown in one panel (that I could find), with the same colours as regular Nightbeat except has a grey chest.
Unfortunately it means that there is now an extremely limited edition official toy out there, of about 50 toys, for completists to fight over.

(quote)We painted the headlights with "glow in the dark" paint. The stripes on the door were actually stickers (one for each black line). We painted cosmic rust on the figure near the tires - it is hard to see in my pic. There is a gun & missle (not shown in pic).

Apparently comes with a biocard as well:

Autobot
Nightbeat
Function: Secret Police
"Lies and screams are music to my ears."
Bio: Nightbeat serves the Autobot forces as the head of the Secret Police, enforcing the decrees of Optimus Prime and rooting out potential Decepticon sympathizers from the ranks of the Autobot army. Highly suspicious of any soldier who shows even a hint of dissension, Nightbeat will use any means necessary to get the information he wants, including torture and dismemberment. An extreme paranoid, he often sees enemies where there are none. While highly feared by most other Autobots, he mistakes this for their respect. To him, fear and respect are the same thing.
Abilities: While his logic center isn't quite as sophisticated as some Autobots', Nightbeat is more than capable of leaping beyond logic to find the "truth" than some, making him the most effective interrogator in the Autobot ranks. Carries a stun gun that can physically incapacitate his victims, but leave their higher cognitive functions operational.
Weaknesses: Nightbeat suffers from a chronic case of Cosmic Rust, the result of a failed assassination attempt. While treatment has reduced it to a minor irritation, failureto continually monitor the condition can cause it to flare up and render him both highly contagious and unable to funtion.
Strength: 5
Intelligence: 8
Speed: 7
Enurance: 6
Rank: 7
Courage: 9
Fireblast: 7
Skill:9

Not sure how this rates as an official Transformers toy though, as it is definitely canon in the story universe, and partially produced by Hasbro. But the final construction and painting is done by amatuers (not official or professional sources). Then again, BotCon 95 Nightracer had final paint applications done by the convention organiser (Raksha), so maybe this custom figure should count as well?

And while on the topic of BotCon customised figures (and since it was mentioned on tfw2005), the other customised figures in the previous two years:
Classics Overkill (recoloured Classics Grimlock)
Gen2 Rumble (recoloured Cybertron Scrapmetal)
Beast Machines Inferno (recoloured Cybertron Scrapmetal)

I've never really seen the sense in these "customising" classes. All they seem to do is teach you how to pop things off sprues, put 'em together, and slap a coat of paint on them. But even then you don't want to be too creative with your paint job because it's also suppose to be a canon character.

Hell, if I ever make it to a gathering i'll bring a long a bunch of junker seekers, charge you lot $50 and show you how to take 'em apart and put 'em back together then give you $2 tins of spray paint. :p
