Kitbashing / Building from Scratch

Does anyone Kitbash or build from scratch here? I have this crazy idea in my head of creating a custom Human Alliance Jolt, from a donor HA Bumblebee and a 1/24 Chevy Volt plastic model kit. I would repaint Sam to look like Leo Spitz. What do you think?

Well I think its easier to do it with HA sideswipe (as he's pretty much a shell-former) plus his head looks more like Jolts than BB.

I'm having trouble finding a Volt model kit though :(
