The lego space shuttle is awesome, the lego side of the sale is far superior than their action figure sale prices (I think their focus is Cars 2, and rightfully so).

Not necessarily. I'm pretty sure exclusives are negotiated independently.

I wasn't expecting much from the kmart sale, last year was crap and I expected this year to be just as bad. I will be picking up the two deluxes, optimus/commetor and some nerf guns so I'm happy with that

The exclusive deluxes didn't have a saving listed next to them, so maybe the $12 price will be the regular price from the sale onwards?

It is a bit disappointing having only 5 items listed this year.

Yup thanks Sutton! Already got the Myer catalogue and hoping to head there after work today, if not tomorrow. Also want the Creator lighthouse set! :D

Anyway Kmart makes it so easy this year. Just picked my items from the catalogue, added them to layby list, printed out and I can just bring it to any store after 8am on 30 June to activate it.

Kmart Chermside (QLD) had the DotM Rally Deluxe exclusives (Bumblebee, Sideswipe)

Their RRP pre sale price is $15.75 whereas the other normal DOTM dexlues are $23.75

Needless to say I didnt buy them! ;)

I decided not to go ahead with the online Christmas lay-by list because I wanted to physically pick out my TFs as I'm really particular about paint jobs and joints of figures, quality etc.

Just came back from Kmart Burwood and put on lay-by
1) Voyager/Deluxe Optimus & Commetor set
2) LEGO Shuttle Expedition
3) Toy Story 3 Sunnyside Character Pack

Those were regular prices and no further sales on them anyway. Also checked that sales prices for the TFs and LEGOs have not been reflected.

A gentle note to those who want the LEGO Shuttle Expedition, better to get in quick before the midnight sale starts as when I picked mine up, there were only 3 other sets left.
