A long time ago, there was a rumor circulating that Hasbro would be releasing a new version of Rhinox in the Classic/Universe/Generations line, just as they did with Cheetor and Dinobot.
I was very excited by this.
But BotCon has come and gone for another year, and I've heard nothing new about the rumor, and with all the focus on DOTM at the moment, I don't even know what the future holds for the CHUG lines.
Can anyone give any insight?

The only insight I can give is that Hasbro is apparently holding back from anything Beast related at the moment, with Prime and DOTM taking up the next year's forecast - Maybe something after that? :o

Oh how happy a Generations Rhinox would make me.
Although a Generations cartoon accurate Blackarachnia would make me go all Lonely Island if you get my meaning.

That's what was being said at BotCon, but if you look at the upcoming Speed Stars Minivehicles (the little Diecast ones), there is a set called 'Beast Machines' which are just redecos, but have beast themes on them. Bumblebee has a cheetor-theme to it, and Lockdown looks to have a spider theme.
So it's not totally being ignored, but maybe this is just a way of keeping them current, while still avoiding it in the mainstream lines to let the interest cool off a bit before a relaunch (maybe).

Hmm... I dunno dude, I know I'll be ignoring those things as they sound more like an insult. :p:D
I agree though, I reckon they've got things in the pipeline but they're just waiting for the appropriate time to announce/release anything.
2 Fan's Choice Hall of Fame Inductees speaks volumes IMO. ;)

Well I'll continue to hold out hope, thats all I can really do.
It's just the list of things I'm hoping for gets ever longer.
Maybe that's what being a fan is all about.

Even though it mya be a lame attampt at making the connection, it could be just a little thing just to keep the beast theme alive. Might have to put up with it for a bit, but hey, it could mean they have the ideas, now is just not the right time for it.
