Fairlady (Megatron) remold into Galvatron
Suzuki Swift (Bumblebee/Cliffjumper) remold into Goldbug
Nissan GT-R (Optimus Prime) remold into Dai Atlas
Mitsuoka Orochi (Seekers) remold into Banzaitron

I would never have seen those coming. Or a return to the Alternity line. (but after Encore restarting, who knows what other JP lines will be resurrected)

Also interesting to see is a black MP Rodimus, a Christmas deco Mickey TF, and a black Jetwing Optimus... as well as release dates and prices for the three Encore toys revealed earlier this week.

That's a lot of stuff planned for the Movie season - a time when all other things would be expected to be on hold until later.

Great news!

I love the Prime GTR mold, hopefully Dai Atlas turns out nice. He is one character who needs a revisit. I wonder what colour for the car mode though? Blue?

Also Goldbug and Galvatron sound promising.

I still do not like the Orochi - an ugly car. Why oh why di TT have to use this car for such key characters as the Seekers (and Banzaitron :(:confused:).

Hope you're right griffin, i wouldn't mind seeing a return of the Hybrid Style line.... DOTM Optimus please TakaraTomy! :D

If anything though, this is probably a 'last hurrah' similar to Binaltech's final 4 releases... that did usher in Alternity though, so maybe there's a new line with similar thinking coming down the track.

I'm more interested to see if there are any mould changes to these things. A straight repaint I'm unlikey to buy though.

I wonder if the head will be the extent of the remold? I would love to see a bodykit on the 370z like they did for Shockwave/Mazdaspeed RX-8 in the BT line.

Holy crap...if they released the 370 or GT-R with bodykits i'd have to be all over them, no doubt!

With what they are doing with Classics giving them new heads/paint jobs, I think it's highly likely they will have new heads.

I am intrigued to see these, even though I have not got a single figure of this line. I may be tempted to get one of these if they look good enough.

They've been pretty good about swapping heads on this line generally, specifically BB & CJ, and then the seekers.

The first pair have been revealed on an asian dealer site - Dai Atlas & Goldbug (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/alternity-goldbug-and-dai-atlas-revealed/22595/).

No new heads or parts unfortunately. Colours look a little dodgy to me, kinda like a paintshop or custom job.

Since I'm living in Osaka anyway Goldbug's bought - once he's shelfwarmed for a whle and come down in price a little. Pity about no head remold images though.:(

Looks like both were supposed to come out before Goldbug, so could be cancelled... but since the listing also said that the two Encore toys that came out last week were meant to be July/Aug last year, they could also be delayed.
We could do with more variety right now, while we try to shake off the whole movie theme of things.
