ANOTHER Arachnid vs Arcee/Bulkhead vs Breakdown episode...
Optimus and BumbleBee aren't in this episode at all either.
Arachnid and her transformation into a dumb flying diamond makes a second appearance, for a few seconds.
It ended up just as a big fight scene, which is becoming a trend with TF:Prime.
Ah well. Hopefully they'll bring back Wheeljack and mess things up!
EDIT: Could a mod edit thread title to 18, I dun goof'd!

Not good, not bad just meh - This seems to be the constant trend with TF Prime.
I wish they would start with something good, the episodes are becoming very shallow and uninspired.

Breakdown's eye patch was cool and looks like Airachnid is back in the "Boys club" with the Cons.
Not a bad episode but with only 5-6 episodes left you would hope things would start to pick up soon, we desperately need some more Megatron!

I hope we get an Airachnid helicopter-mode toy. Bonus points if it's a decent Triple-Changer.

im confused as to why no one has complained about jack's mom?
my god what a desperate single mother... and now she suddenly has time to visit and make sandwiches and possibly date Optimus?

I think that was so crap that it was beyond complaining. I just ignored it.

I agree with this, I don't even pay attention to her at all anymore.

Yeah, I didn't really enjoy that episode. I'm starting to wonder how on earth it was ever nominated (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-prime-39/hub-gets-8-emmy-nominations-6-of-them-for-tf-prime-172122/) for Emmy awards. Was it just the pick of a bad bunch

A trend started with Geewon ;)

I still say that Jack's mum's a beauty. :) As for the Emmy... did Prime actually win the Emmy or was it just nominated? And for which category?
I enjoyed this episode. June may be overbearing of Jack, but as a woman who became a single mother because Jack's dad ran off on them, I can understand why she would be particularly protective of Jack. And I think that it's a bold move for TF Prime as a kids' cartoon series to even explicitly mention that June's single parent status is because her husband/boyfriend did the runner. Unfortunately some parents do abandon their families - and I think that some kids in that situation might be able to relate to Jack in that regard (after all, the entire reason why human characters should even exist in TFs is to help the audience to relate). Off the top of my head I can't think of any other human characters in Transformers who were raised by single parents because the other parent abandoned the family. G1's Sparkplug Witwicky was a single father, but that was because he was a widower. But even then, G1 never really talked about that (we only know about it because in it's in the Production Bible :p). Oh yeah, and Isaac Sumdac was a single parent too... but we all know the reason for that! ;) So I have some respect for the writers to even touch on the issue of a broken family that's the result of abandonment by one of the parents... a pretty heavy issue for a kids' cartoon.
It's gonna be interesting to see how HasTak tackle the challenge of engineering an Airachnid toy... I must admit that I'm skeptical over whether or not it can be done well. As most of you know, I'm not a fan of Transformers being designed as screen characters first and toys second. But hey... maybe HasTak will surprise me and make a good Airachnid toy (go on HasTak - do it! I dare you to pleasantly surprise me!!)
I also liked how Breakdown delivered Airachnid to Megatron at the end of the episode. Heh... take that, spider-wench! :D
Miko... oh my slaggin' god... I wish Bulkhead would just accidentally step on her or something. She has got to be the single most useless and annoying character in that show. Do the Autobots have any sense of responsibility over this child? (or say, the FBI...) Cos if they did, they really should either:
A) Physically restrain or imprison Miko each time the groundbridge is activated and an Autobot is deployed. Seriously. She repeatedly disobeys instructions to stay put and for her own safety she should be restrained or detained. Or...
B) Ban her. She adds nothing to the team. Raf has computer smarts and Jack has saved Arcee and helps her with stuff like aligning her targetting thingamajiggy... what does Miko do? Hang around the base and tries to be a Guitar Hero. Riiight. Get the slag outta there!!
Okay, maybe June doesn't add much either, but her son is there, so at least she has some excuse to come to the base cos she cares/worries about him. What's Miko's excuse? She gets bored and lonely with her foster parents?? Cry me a river, sweetheart! :p She can hang out with Bulkie when he's OFF-DUTY. It's not Jack tags along with his mum when she does her nursing shifts at the hospital!!

My thoughts exactly when I saw her scan for a copter mode in the previous episode. Id like to see Hastak pull off a toy like that - a very interesting triple changer alt modes - creature, bot, vehicle :D
Oh and 5FDP, mebbe it won an Emmy coz the other choices were quite poor, so it's a lesser of two evils kinda decision :p

I still say that Jack's mum's a *****. :)
Gok please don't refer to a catoon character that way. It is a derogatory term plus to any lurker observing this thread it makes us look like a bunch of anti-social fanboys... A stigma I believe we are trying to shed.
As for the episode... I rate it with the rest of the series. Meh.

Overall this episode was pretty meh, for me
It just seemed like one long fight scene
Breakdown's new eye patch is pretty cool, June just went from being boring to being creepy, Black-Airachnid-ia is in another episode yay, that gauntlet could be an interesting plot device later (maybe) kinda weird that all of a sudden arcee and bulkhead are de-magnetized, I would have liked for Airachnid to remain solo for a little longer rather than return to megatron (hopefully she'll try and escape at some point)
Hopefully after this episode June will not be coming to the base all the time. that would get pretty annoying
and for those of you that are getting mad at Miko in this episode, I see it as she went with the bots to get away from June, after all she did go back when arcee told her to later in the episode. So hopefully this was a one off instance and Miko really did learn her lesson in shadowzone
When the magnet was first seen in the episode my thoughts pretty quickly turned to "a way of bonding transformers together.... hello combiners!" if megs had have gotten the gauntlet I could see him either using as his personal shield or have him install it into the leader of a decepticon team allowing them to merge with the rest of the team. But sadly it looks like it's just gonna be ratchet's long range weapon (like animated ratchet's magnet things)
Also anyone else wishing to see soundwave do more in future episodes?
