Hey guys,

I am currently working on my next project for my classicverse stuff which is a Dead End. Now i do currently have a CHUG Dead End in which i used the alternity mold mainly because there was nothing better to use (at least in my opinion anyway)......

But then RtS Jazz was released and now i have a worthy enough candidate for Dead End :D

He is not yet completed but here are some bits and pieces that i have done and i hope to update this thread as i go along with the project.

The side profile looks so much better without that wing. Looks like you're fixing the mismatched wheels too?

So I assume that's extra plastic-molding onto the head right? Is that easy to mold and is it expensive? I'm thinking of starting up some big projects in the near future.

By the way, what a kickass design you've got going on man!

Well the bit in top of his head is a bit of putty to fill in a couple of holes cause it get a bit thin on top.The mouth piece is a bit of square styrene tubing cut down to fit his face

The putty will cost about $30 from your local autobahn and the styrene bits ive been getting from hobby habit i got a "odds & ends" pack from them which cost about $18 but gives you alot of different pieces

The paint apps around the edge of the faceplate need a bit of tidying up, but all in all an utterly amazing job :).

Hi Loophole, this custom is just great. I'm really enjoying the updates.:D

Let me ask you something: How do you get the main body paintwork (over larger spaces) so smooth? I'm trying a repaint of my own at the moment, but having trouble with this area. Do you use a airbrush, or a brush?

i used a spray can on this one custom make sure you have decent air temperature at least 20 degrees it helps alot and you are better off putting more thin coats on than two really heavy coat and let your paint dry a bit between coats as well.

if you have an airbrush or a gravity feed spray gun that use that as brushing the paint wont look as good but sometimes a brush is better for doing small details

hey Loophole,
Love your work, especially the custom structure.

I thought in an earlier photo that you had managed to paint the brake disks, now looking again, I'm not so sure. di you remove the wheels to paint them? that would have been hard to get back on.
