Help with these two will be very much appreciated. If anyone needs that trailer don't hesitate to ask (or offer me the front of it;))

Clench is also known as Colossus. That character appeared in the Megatron: Origins series from IDW.

Could someone help me identify this part? I was cleaning out my storage boxes and noticed it was loose. I looked at all the TFs in the box but couldn't place who it belonged too. :(

It looks like a spoiler or maybe part of a excavation TF.

I think it belongs to the minicon that comes with Cybertron Menasor.

Heavy Load is his name.

Thanks heaps I_amtrunks! Damn, the only mini-con I forgot to check. He was attached to Menasor's arm and I thought of him as just a part not even a little robot. Glad to get that one dealt with. More cleaning up to go... sigh..

For someone who loves souped up cars, I would have expected you to be a lot closer than this.

Anyway, yeah it's Volt, one of the Laser Rods, as llamatron said.

He is missing his sword, and the wiring looks a little...wrong. There shouldnt be that much wire visible.

Still actually seeing Laser Rods on ebay is rare.

:o Yeah but IMO, that's a pretty poor attempt at a TFing Hot Rod.

Now the following is how it should be done... :)

Yeah but unlike that picture the Laser Rods are well articulated. Late G2 pioneered articulated and fully poseable robot modes, so you gotta give them some credit for that.

Oh great, now I have that freakin' Laser Rod rap in my head!! AAARGH!

i_amtrunks

I think you'd really get a kick out of the Laser Rods Pulse, sure they might be brightly coloured, but their articulation is fantastic, and the LED light gimmick is unobtrusive and somewhat different.

The only G2's that scratch my itch are the G2 prototypes.

Menasor and Hot spot set which was not released... it will set me back at least 40K, I might consider it in the future, right now, I'd rather focus on my G1's. But yeah those ones i mentioned are absolute rares of rares. I'd take them over a misb grand maximus any day

I believe the top one is a missile from Supreme Cybertron Starscream, the bottom one is Cybertron Thunderblast's and the one on the right looks like a broken G1 Tracks missile.

The third missile from the top (grey) is

Prowl, energon, deluxe powerlinx

I THINK!!! alot of the later toys used the same mould, and colours were very similar!

Looks like a happy meal cross between Armada Prime and G1 Gears. Is it even a TF?

Happy Meal Armada Prime.

GoktimusPrime
31st August 2009, 10:54 AM
The cool thing about the Armada McDonald Happy Meal toys is that they have Mini-Con ports which you can actually attach Mini-Cons to! They're "dead" ports so they don't activate any gimmicks, but it's still a pretty cool feature for a $2 Happy Meal toy! If you collect all the Happy Meal Autobots they actually merge into a big robot, which is pretty much just the Autobots standing on each other (like in Gatchaman! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Science_Ninja_Team_Gatchaman)), but it's still pretty neat for such a cheap and simple set of toys. The Happy Meal Armada Decepticons can merge into a super vehicle.

Starscream is my favourite of the Happy Meal Armada TFs because he has a G1 Jumpstarter gimmick, only that it works _better_ than the G1 Jumpstarters!! :D Hot Shot is my favourite of the Armada Happy Meal Autobots. He has a simple pull back and go motor gimmick; but it's heaps of fun. For KIDS... yes, kids... :p
