Ladies and Gentlemen...I NEED THIS!

Million Publishing has posted a sample image of the packaging for their upcoming exclusive figure Stepper. The figure is repaint of Reveal the Shield Special Ops Jazz with a repaint of the Universe Targetmaster Nightstick.

This figure is a mail-away exclusive for Million Publishing's Transformers Generations 2011 Volume 2. The deadline to mail in the redemption postcards for Japan residents is August 27th, with the figures actually shipping in late 2011.

Anyone know if it is possible to get this internationally since it's a mail away figure?

This has been up for pre-order on BBTS for ages already (first reported here (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/bbts-preorder-for-million-publishing-united-stepper/21365/)). See here (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=MPB10005&mode=retail) for ordering page.

EDIT: There's another thread about it here (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=10738&highlight=stepper) as well.

Sorry, I didn't remember that threads already existed about it. As far as I remember, this is the first time I have seen it.

A mod can delete or merge this thread if they wish.

Why apologise for?

It's been months since anyone has posted about Stepper anyway... I only posted the links so other people who haven't seen it before (like yourself) can see the previous discussions about this awesome looking figure. :)

Its also possible, in all the excitement, that people haven't realised that there is a comic inside the book, writing by none other than Simon Furman and drawn by the amazing Guido Gudi (spelling?).

its been translated at the allspark, and is SURE to push up steppers price on the secondarry market.

WARNING - THIS TOY MAY BE ADDICTIVE, CLICK ON COMIC ONLY IF YOU ARE
SURE YOU CAN AFFORD TO BUY ONE, OR HAVE A SPARE KIDNEY FREE

Here's the hyperink (http://www.allspark.com/content/view/9380/37/)

there's a Generations 2011 comic that was recently translated which features the united toys and is about stepper (http://www.allspark.com/content/view/9380/37/). reilly beat me to it :/

I'm sure everyone agrees its a very nice repaint but its so insanely expensive.
if anyone can help me get one $50-80 I'd be very appreciative (I know its unlikely...)

It can stay as its own topic (I was going to post it as its own news item anyway). Title has been edited to reflect it being an update.

So is it up for pre order anywhere that doesn't have an extortionate price?

I ordered 2 so I have 1 spare. I have to check but it's around the $90 mark.

Bwahaha! In the comic, Drift is the only non-Master who is unaffected by the virus and single-handedly defends Autobot City - even Furman has Chuck Norrisified Drift. :) Love the art. Artfire seems to be using a repaint of PCC Mini-Con Pinpoint as Nightstick. I don't think Straxus looks like he should be flying in normal tank mode - Guidi should have used his third, fortress mode. And some terrible 'catalogue' cameos - Rumble and Frenzy are completely out of place. Lugnut, however, is in this comic as he should be, since he's such a crucial 1987 G1 character. ;)

That part, by the way it was phrased seemed almost like a parody to me :D

I'd like to get this toy but I can wait and see if Hasbro do it. They'll surely release a repaint of Jazz at some point right?

What I really want to get is Generations 2011 Vol 2 (from which the comic comes) but I'm having trouble tracking a copy of that down.

Ditto.

Is it too late to make/join a group order now?

RK have created a product page (http://www.robotkingdom.com/services/eshop/main.php?action=details&CatType=&II=TFUNE002&lang=us&CatID=) for United Stepper, but there's no price or ability to pre-order yet.

I'm thinking they'll probably open up pre-orders very shortly (they usually update on Friday night/Saturday morning)

Want to jump in on this group order as well, though I'm more about the comic than the toy.

By the way, seeing it's Vol.2, supposedly there should be a Vol.1 already out there? Anyone had that and how is it?

The comic is four pages in the Transformers Generations 2011 Vol 2 book (there's a thread about the book on here). The translated scans linked earlier in the thread are all there is to the comic. The 2011 Vol 1 book had a lengthier comic, reprinting chapters sold with Takara's movie MP toys, and then had the final chapter. It looks good, it's set in the movie universe, but I can't read a word of it. :o
