If this has better paint apps than my Hasbro ROTF Leaderclass figure then I'll be pretty tempted by this figure, more so than the Jetpack version that's for sure. ;)

you can get them for roughly 6000Yen from sites like amiami and hlj and shipping is 1500-2500Yen and at current exchange rates its around $110-120AU.

hope that gives you an idea.

As of November 18th, those who spend 3,000yen or more at Toys 'R' Us (Presumably Japanese TRU stores) they will in turn receive a pair of Battle Blades for the upcoming 'Striker' Optimus Prime, these pair of Blades are limited to 10,000 sets.

I'll throw my hat into the "ME WANTEE!" ring as well. My resolve is weakening towards DOTM purchases. Also it looks like you put those blades in any mechtech port wich adds som pizzazz to Ultimate Optimus Prime too.

Most likely you'll have to import it from an Online store (Robot Kingdom (http://www.robotkingdom.com/services/eshop/main.php?lang=us)) or possibly have it ordered through a Brick and Mortar Hobby store, if we're lucky one of the Major Retailers (Kmart, Big W, Target) may pick it up but I wouldn't hold my breath on that one. :o

Your best bet would be to go through an Online store as it'll be the cheapest option IMO. ;):)

the only obvious thing i can see is the smokestacks are a more darker gunmetal grey?
