For the 1st time in a long time I can legitimately post in a thread such as this.

Beast Wars Transmetal 2 Tripredacus Agent, complete with Backing Card!

1st thing I've added the collection since the Japanese 10th Ann BW figures.

It's a nice enough piece. Some colour on the teeth would have been nice, but we don't always get what we want being a TF Collector.

It's about time you've been able to post in one of these threads Verno, you're beating me with that figure too as I don't have his backing card or his missile sadly... Yet another figure I'll have to buy purely for a single part. :p

Ouch, yeah I don't like your chances of tracking down a missile. He's just an over-priced repaint so don't put him too high on your want list.

My second Classics Starscream (MOSC) I still wish I bought 2 when he was released. Having bought it from Canada I forgot he had bilingual packaging. MY OCD brain doesn't like that.

So he completes this little display/ collection

Cheers Liege, Indeed I am man and I appreciate you keeping an eye out for me.

Picked up a few nice things this last couple weeks, Armageddon purchases, and phat birthday loot from the wife. Pretty happy with my MS juggernaut and BD green arrow, both excellent figures. got a GT-01R G1 ratchet upgrade. what a piece of junk , its face wasn't aligned properly and his robot visor fell off.Got a complete g1 scattershot with minty sixshot and quickswitch, the not-MP seeker coneheads and some random beastwars stuff.

Bloody hell, that is quite the haul there Darth!, Congratulations.
So many sweet acquisitions there but I am most jealous of that Sixshot! :o:D

I managed to get this guy from a flea market this morning...

*snip*

Oh Wow! - that is a lucky find indeed!
Congratulations AP, he's a cool figure with great characterisation in the LSOTW comics but to find him so complete at a flea market!?!

IDW's becoming a very competitive rival of TakTom in fighting for my tiny disposable income and I think it'll beat all the toys, very soon.:o

Classic UK Collection Volume 1:

*snip*

Also picked this up at Minotaur. There's one left when I left.

*snip*

Congratulations Arcee, glad to see you've picked up the TPB of G1 Marvel Reprints as it's cool that you're willing to delve into the old stuff; as someone who's recently done the same, I can say you'll definitely see the differences between them and the cartoon and which one is Superior. ;)
I've still got to pick myself up a set of Transformers Monopoly, not that I'm in a major rush though as it's never as fun playing it without having Deceptic_Optic and 1AZRAEL1 there to compete. :p:D

this is my october haul so far.i'm just waiting on 3 targetmasters from the uk and another large group of movie toys.

Good lord Irondude!

My acquisitions today are really more of a kind of 'Re'-acquisition, as they were found at the bottom of my younger Brother's old toy box and I haven't seen these guys in quite some time!

My haul for this week:

Heinlad - His better than I thought (specifically articulation wise), though his chest is little big due to the clock gimmick.

Survive vs Killerpunch - Took me awhile to get this. Definetly one of the harder pieces to come by now. Killerpunch is awesome. His box photos have different looking spikes though  Although Survive is more of a bonus, he has an awesome paintjob. Much, much better than polar claw.

Telemocha Rhinox - Love his paintjob and the figure. I thought he was going to be a crappy figure, but exceeded my expectations.

Causality 3, 4, 5 - Have not had much time with them yet, but Fansproject just keep getting better and better.

Maiden Japan Junkion Upgrade - All I can say is finally! Understandably, this took months to complete with all the other similtaneous orders. It is a really great set. I love it!! Did anyone else get theirs yet? I only ordered a single set....

Not pictured: Classics Rodimus, Starscream, Generations Thrust and Animated Blurr (never knew the arm articulation was so poor) from Penrith swap meet.

That is one mighty impressive haul there King Atlas and I'm am extremely jealous of your Survive vs. Killerpunch acquisition!; that pair are so bloody hard to come by at an affordable price be it individually or in the 2-pack!
Heinlad is also an extremely cool figure, I love that Robotic Alien Space Tenuki! :D

How cool are the Not-Insecticons eh? - I completely agree with you on your comments about Fansproject; I can't wait to see that upcoming 'Heartmaster'. ;)

Nah, it's good to see guys gettin' passionate about their game. :) The only time I've had to ask them to be quiet was the last time we had a game at my place -- and my wife had put the baby to sleep... it was funny watching the two of them restrain and muffle their screams. ;)

...and that's why I decided to bring my TF Monopoly set to the cinema when we did the midnight Dark of the Moon meet... we made lots of noise in the foyer sitting in front of the giant DOTM display, heheheheh. :D (that was AWESOME fun... we need to have another boardgame meet )

Yep I have his head upgrade on the way. I seriously can't wait as I love him with the head upgrade. My bro has one too and I can't stop admiring it. It took a damn while to track down a hardhead too.

I paid substantially more for my Weirdwolf than the $56 you mentioned. A majority of that would have been postage... It's a prick most of the time from the states.

No, I'd say that's an original because the reissues all have metal toes whereas some originals had plastic toes (my G1 has metal toes, but a lot of other kids I knew had plastic-toed Hot Rods). AFAIK there's never been a reissue of plastic-toed Hot Rod.

Btw Jena, I have a spare G1 Hot Rod gun. Drop me a PM if you're interested. :)

I was able to get this from the TF wiki: Upon his original release, Hot Rod had unpainted die-cast metal feet, while later editions of the figure used black plastic.

Not all that helpful. I guess it's an original then. Thanks for your help.

Impressions?

Unopened so cant decide on toy. Bumblebee is bigger than classics, starscream is half the size.
Packing is good, very slick. They even have numbering on the side (like Japanese style).

I remember when Warpath was so hard to find it was incredibly expensive. Now they are everywhere.
You may not get them first wave, but there will be hundreds on sale around Xmas/After christmas. Wouldnt worry about scalpers on retail products...

Cool, thanks.
I'll definitely be waiting for the Christmas sales, I am surprised that Starscream is so small. I saw the display at Botcon and he didn't seem that small in robot mode.

Starscream is packaged in jet mode, which is tiny.
He's a pretty tall deluxe iirc.

Four of the magnets, two already ended up on my bedroom door and fridge. Special thanks to Hursti for the repro labels! :D

They aren't that expensive yet online... $21 AUD per deluxe shipped (just leaves you with two spare Bumblebees that could be hard to sell). I got to the Paypal checkout button on RK before I changed my mind and decided to wait and see what a future case assortment for the deluxes might be. But by the end of the week I may cave and purchase them. :o
