IGN website (http://au.tv.ign.com/articles/120/1200568p1.html) posted up details from the Prime panel at NYCC, plus, Tformers posted up the teaser clip (http://tformers.com/transformers-2011-nycc-transformers-prime-season/16643/news.html) from Season 2 (recorded with someone's phone).

Be aware that since these are Season 2 details, if you haven't seen all of Season 1, there will be spoilers.

Details from the panel included:
Bumblebee's voice (or lack of) will be explored in a 2-part story early in the season.
Maybe some upgrades to characters by the end of the season.
Wheeljack and Starscream will return.
Some new characters may not turn into vehicles.
The story will leave Earth for a while during Season 2.
They want to do Dinobots (but sounds like they aren't in this season though).
A character called Dreadwing will appear.
And there will be a higher body count this season, which can include "anybody".

The panel ended with the clip linked above, which is about 10 seconds of Knock Out applying a Decepticon symbol on the arm of Orion/Optimus.

Wasnt quite sure about this series until i started to watch it, it is a pretty good show (just needs some more Autobots and Decpticons) the final for the season is alright not as much as cliffhanger as the talk had you to believe. If you do watch this series try to watch it in high def.

I certainly believe that this thread is deserving of a Spoiler tag Griffin, at least for a month anyway.

After having literally just finished watching TF: Prime's Season 1 finale, I can truly say that I'll be clawing my face until November 24 for Season 2 to start airing! :D
The richness and further potential of this show is vast and these tid-bit details revealed at the NYCC do little to satiate my patience in wanting to see more of this show but also to pick up it's figures! ;)

the Decepticon symbol on Optimus looks so sexy.

If there is a toy - it should have the symbol light up red and evil. and then they should paint Optimus black. yeah.

Spoiler warnings or hidden text in news posts are redundant and ruin the look of the news posts. It's in the news section, and just about every news topic is a spoiler, so people intentionally clicking on a topic title are expecting news/spoilers.
I even went to the trouble of pointing out the obvious, by reminding people in the second paragraph that this could spoil those yet to watch Season 1 (since I made sure the title mentions Season 2).

We don't have spoilers in topic titles, because they can be seen on the main tables... but if someone chooses to read the article, they want to read the news (not just see a link, or a big empty space, or even hidden text). If they are worried about spoilers, they won't click on the topic title, because what else can they read in the article aside from information that are deemed spoilers?

Outside the news sections, it is different - spoilers in the body of a post should be forewarned (in the post or topic title) and/or hidden (by making the text white).

Okey doke, that's a solidly fair point. ;):)
I guess I've just been trying to avoid temptation over the past week with information about the last episode of Season 1 being posted all over the place internationally and Singapore apparently airing it earlier than the U.S., probably me being overly cautious as normal - I just hope others are able to avoid temptation and enjoy the surprises without spoiling it for themselves or by others.

That's okay. :)
Spoiler protection is always a good thing to keep in mind (and I think we do a pretty good job here - haven't had any complaints for a while), provided it doesn't go too far, making impossible to talk about anything, no matter how old it is, fearing a complaint from someone who hasn't yet seen it.

Sweet! I like how the story is now unwinding... not the typical good vs evil of bad guy does this, good guy reacts they battle and ending in good guy wins. Yeah!!:D:D I do hope they make dinobots :o:o all 5 not just 3..

Phew, I stopped reading that paragraph at the top and closed the window a couple days ago. that was close.
I've just watched episode 26, and I am yet to pick my jaw up off the floor.
Wow, I am enjoying this a lot more than I expected to, like you hursti can't wait for next season. And like Orionpax1 said, you really should watch it in High def if you can.
