MP4 Video Editing Programs?

Ok what im after is a program that I can edit MP4 Video files. I need to edit them to make them shorter and edit out crap also edit a few different files together into 1 file. Since I don’t know of any thought I would ask here and someone might know of a good one

Not saying that this is the best solution but it's something I would do as it's the only program I use to edit video - Windows Movie Maker.

Can't remember if you can load MP4's into it, but if not, I would just convert it to .avi and then back again. Like I said, not the best solution :o

A contraindication is Sony Vegas 8 or anything below based on personal experience, the program tends to have troubles processing framerates with MP4s.
