yeah the ROTF packaged buster 2 pack. I'm just hoping they do it again with the DOTM packaged buster 2 pack.

I thought so :p, hmm... seeing how Ultimate and Jetwing Prime seem to be hanging around a bit I'm not sure how well that'll bode for a local release; stranger things have happened though. :cool:

If I remember right it had a lot of gunmetal brown instead of the blue/silver.

Prime was also different to the normal buster mould. It had a faceplate while the normal one didn't.
I always wanted one but didn't want the Jetfire that came with it......

Yeah, aside from cosmetic paint changes, it's the same toy.


Prime was also different to the normal buster mould. It had a faceplate while the normal one didn't.
The fuel tanks can also detach and combine into a rifle - same as Jetwing Optimus Prime.

Ditto. And now that I have Jetwing Prime I have even less incentive to get it. Meh.

Yes, but that isn't a difference from the original Buster Prime

Well my knowledge of the movie trilogy is that jetfire died in rotf and became the jetpack rockets etc for Prime and in dotm was converted into his trailer/flight tech.

Jetwing Prime is superior imo.

Jetwing Prime is superior imo.

Buster has the superior paint apps though. jetwing is nice, but if you compare the two together...it's really a matter of opinion. Like henkei's vs classics.

Buster Prime does indeed have nicer colours (especially with the chrome, whereas JW Prime suffers from Hasbro Gray :(), although Jetwing Prime has a more DOTM-accurate body retool - with the "abs" and removal of those thingamajiggies beneath the chest-windows which I find darn annoying on the ROTF version. Reducing them makes that part of transformation much much easier.
