If you could only display 15...

I know some guys here have Collections of immense size, and attampt to have all of them on display at once.

But if you could only display 15 figures to sum up your Collection, what would they be?

Would you try to create a theme with them? Or something of each line? Or just some favourites?

I've got a Collection of around 100 figures, all bar 13 are packed away.

The 10th Anniversary figures sum up my Collection well, plus they look incredible. I've also got Metals Ravage and TM2 Tripredacus Agent on display atm.

So if you could only show off a maximum of 15 figures, what would they be? And why.

Okay okay okay, I'll stop trying to cheat! Gimme some time to make a list though... geez... 15... I can't even pick my favourite from each year (cos that'd be 27). :eek: Tough call... gonna have to give this some thought. :)

*Henkei Bluestreak.
*FP (Springer) Warbot (with customized noggin).
*Henkei Bumblebee (without the jetpack).
*iGear PP Ratchet (i'm saving a spot on the shelf for it).
*Generations Warpath (with shoulder weapons removed).
*Perfect Effect Frumbzy.

a very hypothetical list, i don't own an MP Megatron nor PP-Coneheads and obviously don't yet have a PP-Ratchet.
the scales are certainly heavy on the third party stuff but i just love what a lot of companies have been dropping recently.

I guess it depends on where one's priorities lies with their toy displays. For me it's about functionality for accessibility to toys that I want to play with first before aesthetics as a visual display. So I chose 15 toys that I would most want to play with and would most not want to relegate to storage. It was a damn tough choice! So yeah, my list was based on "These are the 15 toys that I'd most like to keep playing with" rather than anything to do with visual appeal.

What's your reasoning for including Springer in your 15 liege? I'd assume you'd have Hot Rod / Rodimus who had a greater influence taking over from Prime post TF:TM.

I prefer G1 Springer's character and toy, over Hot Rod :) - especially the copter mode. i didn't like as well the whiny characterization of Hot Rod in the G1 toon series.

This is a challenging question, I'd probably rotate the theme from time to time, so there would be 15 g1, or 15 movie characters or 15 universe/classics/etc characters.

Having just moved, my cabinet is bone dry empty at the moment, I will be initially re-filling it with Animated figures as I release them from their cardboard prisons for the first time.
I'm thinking of setting up a blog so I can review characters/toys as I go.

Does anyone know of a good site for hosting blogs with photos?
