This is the last for the year, I promise :D

Repainted Kup and added G1 Trailbreaker toy's head and forcefield generator. Alas the head won't fit for transformation, so it has to be removed when turning into a vehicle.

I removed his left hand and replaced it with a barrel from a spare Scourge gun.

My first version used a movie Ratchet with a Twin Twist head. The vehicle mode is fine but I wasn't a fan of the bot mode. Although I do like the head I used, I didn't use it on this new version because I had just used it on Nightbeat, plus I may be able to use it for a future project. G1 Trailbreaker's head is a unique design and I doubt I could re-use it as easily. And it makes him stand out.

oh WOW!! that works really well the head might be a little big but overall that fits trailbreaker to a tea.

You should show hasbro so they make it and then i can buy it :)

edit: would the head from your first Trailbreaker custom fit this one? cause that might work just as well

That does look good. I wouldn't have expected Kup to work as Trailbreaket but you've succeeded.

That's a great custom. The Kup mould works really well as Trailbreaker with the new head.

Yeah it works! I wonder if Hasbro has thought of this.

Thanks for the comments everyone :o

I reckon the head from the first custom would fit, but I'd have to drill a hole in the back of it for the forcefield generator to fit in. It'd probably be easy enough to do, but I think I might have used my luck up in not drilling into my fingers when I drilled a hole in the base of the G1 head for it to connect. And I do like using the original toy head to set him apart.

I really dig this design, as I think this is something hasbro should take advantage of. What head did you use as I really think trail breaker is a character that doesn't get enough support.

Wow, great idea! You could probably paint the "windshield" in botmode blue to bring it back to G1 a bit more. I wonder what deluxe size heads could suit Trailbreaker as per the G1 cartoon.

Really got me thinking about doing this myself :D

I really like this custom. I must have looked at it 20 times already. Seemingly simple yet extremely effective as a homage to the G1 character. It just feels "right".

Loophole, you must be insane to think Hasbro would do something as "crazy" as this & give fans something they want. Not when they can release more movie junk anyway.

Have you seen both the trailbreakers on tfw2005 one of them even used the same mbase as you did! They look amazing! Hell if you are on tfw you should give him some tip on re head as that is what he seems to be having trouble with.
