Okay guys - here's the scenario:

Henkei Starscream.

Okay. He's apparently heaps better than the original Hasbro release. Is he cool?
Personally, yes- first seeker I've gotten a hold off and I think that he really works as an homage to the G1's and am very happy with him. HOWEVER. He does have the one thing I loathe in modern day transformers:

Grey plastic masquerading as some shade of metal.

Yes. I hate it. Hate it with a vengeance. <_<; So. With Henkei screamer - what should I paint him with?
This Tamiya Titanium Silver paint or Sky Grey?

Essentially : Silver / Grey ?
*note: by Silver, I do not mean chrome! (ie - won't be the same effect as say - henkei convoy's front grille- it'll be like all the other silver stuff I've done)
Please help me choose! :D

:)I say gray as you don't see bright shiny planes around, well not since the 50' and 60's I would guess:D.

I'd have to agree. A pale grey would look very nice... & realistic to boot :).

"Swatches?! Swatches?!?!?! We don't need no stinkin' swatches!!!"

You know, when you buy carpet or paint, and you get the samples or pictures of the color to choose from. All you're givin' us is text! :P

EDIT: You should know Spotlight Boy!

SO.

I was kind of undecided on this... and what I'm doing that will work well (IMO) is :
I'm painting the grey plastic bits GREY, and if I don't think it looks good after I'm done, it'll work as a great undercoat for my silver coat on top!! :D

Pics to come! :DTryinh to paint straight lines to not-colour over his red. :b

GREY IT IS!!!!

You have spokenz and now I have results:

i2.photobucket.com/albums/y17/lcz128_photos/Transformers/HenkeiSScream-005.jpg

i2.photobucket.com/albums/y17/lcz128_photos/Transformers/HenkeiSScream-012.jpg

The only issue is that there is a bit of paint rub here and there- but it looks great! (IMO)

Had a few mis-haps as this was coming together... like dropping an entire wing that had wet paint on it into my water container <_<; dayum!

That said, tell me what you think, and THANKS for the voting guys!!!

(mods, is it possible to end the poll and rename the topic to "Silver / Grey - GREY IT IS!!!")

Paint job so so nice. I could not believe how good the gray looks in person. It really is quite hawt and I'm pretty sure looks better than silver would.
