Yet Another Newbie

Hello, everyone. I stumbled across this web site the other day and figured I'd check it out. I, like many people, grew up with Transformers and played with the 1984-1987 toylines. As the story goes, I eventually outgrew Transformers, and my parents threw them out. In college I rediscovered the animated movie and began my collection anew. 16 years later, I've far surpassed my original collection and have virtually all of the figures from the 1984-1987 lines along with characters featured in IDW comics (Wreckers come to mind) and recent third party and Takara/Hasbro upgrades to classic figures. Looking forward to hanging around.

Sadly, I could never get into Beast Wars.
I highly recommend Beast Wars. It fits into the same continuity as G1 and G2 and actually enhances it. :)

Megatron and his tail. In the pic, it's easy to miss the grey prongs in that photo, and without those, it really looks like......well........

Those gray prongs are pretty prominent... and the section behind that is bronze.

Welcome to the board, I'm a big G1 fan as I was around for the original cartoons and maybe a little longer but Beast Wars is my all time favourite. I wasn't interested in the figures until I saw the show, After that I was hooked :D
