Is there a difference between the 2 pack Prime and Megatron (aside from battle damage) to the stand-alone releases? I know Prime has the axe but mold wise, any other differences?

The molds in the 2-pack are both unique.

Available Primes:
1. Deluxe Prime (Cybertron Mode)
2. Voyager Prime (Earth mode - 2nd wave)
3. 2-Pack Prime (deluxe earth mode)

Available Megs:
1. Voyager Megs (Cybertron Mode)
2. 2-Pack Megs (deluxe cybertron mode)
3. Leader Megs (Earth mode - not avail. yet)

The toys in the 2 pack aren't a standalone release (as) yet.
It goes like this:
2 pack
Deluxe Earth Mode Optimus prime with Battle Damage
Deluxe Cybertron Mode Megatron with Battle Damage
Standalone
Deluxe Cybertron Mode Optimus Prime
Voyager Cybertron Mode Megatron
Voyager Earth Mode Optimus Prime

The 2 deluxe OP's are basically the same mould though, different mainly in chest piece and arms - and the axe as you pointed out.
