Those already upset over the FE line being cut prematurely are going to LOVE this (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/targetmasters-are-back-takara-transformers-prime-micron-arms-series-first-look-at-skywarp/23867/). :D It looks like the Takara PRID toys are coming out with awesome Targetmasters whereas we get a gun that can be held on its side to represent a club. Uh oh spaghettios!

Conformation that FE Cliffjumper is also going to be available again as 'Zombie' Cliffjumper and not only comes with a Micron, but is also cheaper than the regular First Editions.

I thought I read that the minicons would be capsule toys. I assumed they are just meant for certain figures not that they actually come with the figures.

(copied posts to here)
So does that mean each toy is packaged with a Targetmaster, or they will be extra items to chase up separately? I'd be guessing that they are being shown paired up instead of just revealing the different Targetmasters, that they do come packaged with them.
If so, that is going to create a huge demand for the JP versions, and even bigger demand for just the weapons, as some of them look really good.

I decided to check out HLJ, and it seems they've got their pre-orders up too. The interesting thing I noticed was the price on AM-07 Starscream of 4000yen. So it looks like we're getting a Voyager-sized version of him :D

They actually look quite fun. Anyone able to translate the names?

There aren't any names shown in the pics :( The katakana above each one just says "Arms Micron"

Oh, damn. I'm sure we'll get names soon enough. Something has to cheer the Prime fans up :p

Indeed, this makes the most sense to me. I'm assuming (hoping?) the Voyager toys will be rid of the clear plastic parts too.

On that note, I've read on various sites rumours that

a) The clear parts remain on the voyagers and

b) That while they come with an additional Micron Targetmaster, the AM figures have less paint apps than the Western releases and have stickers applied in lieu of this.

Unsure how to feel about that.

There's another rumour that the TMs come unassembled. if all these rumours come true I'll be ecstatic! stickers? Microns to build? All im hearing is fun, fun, fun!

Very interesting indeed.

Must have missed this the first time...How is this even possible?? And how would they look next to the supreme being that are the Takara FE's? I'm calling BS on this particular rumour. The stickers will more than likely enhance the toys eg. give Ratchet his trademark heart rate logo. Time will tell I guess!

Personally, I'm not too keen on these as packaged-with accessories. If they're capsule toys I'll probably try for them, but I really don't want many of the main figures enough to warrant buying them. The only one shown there I am after is PRIDE Arcee (subject to her being better than FE for the purposes of being Odieverse Chromia), and the minicon she's got looks pretty chunky for an arm blade.

Apparently they don't come with their regular weapons either which could be good or bad.

I didn't plan on buying many not Cyberverse Prime toys but now I'll have to reconsider. I love me some Mini-cons.

Just noticed this (http://www.hlj.com/product/TTA99608) for pre-order at HLJ. I'm wondering if these are perhaps the clear ones (like those we saw in the FE Voyager Prime display a while ago) and maybe the ones that come with the "PRIDE's" are non-transparent? Exciting to ponder at any rate. :D

Well I noticed this from RK (facebook page) , not that I want to order from them or anything, seems the little guys are sold separately if we were to base it from them

Damn those look nice. Is anyone noticing a pattern here? It seems like the Decepticon Microns are all beasts whereas the Autobots Microns are all robots. I like!

Well, the HLJ 20% off sale ends in a few days so I just pre-ordered a "couple" of items. :D

TKT43792 AM-04 Rachet
TKT43793 AM-05 Megatron
TKT43794 AM-06 Skywarp
TKT45253 AM-09 Sound Wave
TKT45255 AM-11 Arcee
TKT45256 AM-12 Desepticon Blakedown
TKT45257 AM-13 Desepticon Knockout
TKT45258 AM-14 Desepticon Beacon

AU$176 sans shipping. BOOM! :D

Helpful tip: HLJ don't charge until your pre-orders are in stock. They also won't ship your stuff until ALL of your pre-orders are in stock UNLESS you ask them to do a partial shipment. Hope this helps. :)

The initial report was "capsule toy" which I guess is those vending machine things. Maybe some "extras" will be sold that way in addition to one being packed in with deluxe so you can really arm your toys.

Case of 300! Yikes. :)

You'd get the business man, I'd damn grab a few! - Might be worth holding off until more is known though huh?

Did anyone else notice what's going on in the top right pic of liegeprime's RK link (http://www.robotkingdom.com/images/products/thumb/TFAMAM01.jpg)? All the Microns shown in this cell are the ones that come with the PRIDE toys. Further to this observation, what looks like Prime, Ratchet and Bee's Microns combine to form some kind of mega bayonet/blaster thing. Freakin' bad ass!!

And the Kanji slapped over each toy image says "Do not circulate" :)

Anyway... we previously saw the "Arms Micron" title being used for the store exclusive Mini-Cons (repaints of PCC Mini-Cons) that came out with the First Edition toys in Japan. Damn... I've been putting Aimless on my Classicsverse shelf... I guess this definitely makes him a TF Prime toy. :/

Undecided about whether I'll get these toys. Probably get Skywarp... definitely not going to get repeats of FE moulds (not worth it just to get a Mini-Con IMO). New moulds... I'll think about it.

HLJ is very unreliable, so I think I shall have to pre order all of these somewhere else (though I have missed ordering from my favourite supplier). Loving the idea of the extra Micron/Targetmaster compared with a stupid oversized weapon (Cliffjumper and Prime ..). May even break down and order the figures that I don't really want (like Bee, Prime, Cliffjumper and Voyager Starscream just to get the weapons)

Hopefully some final releases show up soon and hope the rumor of less paint apps not true.

Indeed (http://otca.com.au/boards/showpost.php?p=284534&postcount=16). There's this (http://www.capturedprey.com/store/arms_micron_optimus_prime_blaster?keyword=prime) too which shows an individual Optimus Prime blaster Micron for pre-order. Then, read this:

Takara is supplemetning their Transformers: Prime mainline with brand new Micron (Mini-Con) figures, each of which transforms into a weapon for the character! In addition, unique new Microns are being issued as capsule toys! Four styles are available in the first assortment, with the Autobot Microns transforming between robot mode and weapon mode, and the Decepticon Microns transforming from beasts to weapons!

So if this is to be believed, you need to buy the Takara PRIDE toys if you want their supplementary Micron eg. Soundwave's Scorponok partner but you won't be able to buy Scorponok separately as the capsule toys are 'unique'.

after watching peaugh's reviews I've preordered skywarp and the takara RID cliffjumper. Although I do hope Hasbro sees the potential in the capsule toys and releases them too.

It'd be really awesome if they did, just don't expect to see them in AU though. :(
I'm really digging these Microns; I too am thinking that going Takara is the better move... Funds permitting.
