I like him. I'll be adding a lot of yellow paint of my own though, or grabbing one from Takara if they do him up. He looks a little bland :-/

Nice touch that they included the deco on his doors. I wondered if they were going to work those onto his arms.

I don't know why but that mold looks way better as Hot Shot than it does as Bumblebee. I like that he has a big H on his forehead.

Hmm, I like things about both. The PRIDE version appears to be more screen accurate but the FE has a tonne more moulded detail. In terms of actual quality, the FE obliterates the new toy (I'd say the PRIDE Arcee has the level of detail I'd expect from a Scout, not a deluxe). Need to see an HD close-up of the new head as I'm struggling to tell if it's better than the FE's (even when I enlarge the image). I'll probably end up with both...

I want one of them, so far the Hasbro PRIDE version is looking to be the winner for the Odieverse what with having a cleaner robot mode and my quite liking the BFG/pseudo-bayonnet combo.
Ultimately it'll come down to poseability and how the PRIDE version deals with the back kibble.

Her transformation seems to cheat more but I think she looks better than the First Edition toy. That's a huge gun though, what the Hell?

Yeh that gun is rubbish. I do like the larger shoulder spikey things mounted more on her back, freeing up her shoulders over the FE. Looks like the blade can still be plugged under her fore-arms as well. She also seems to still have the mounts on her leg for the blade. Shame there appears to only be one.

But that gun. Seriously WTH??? I would have preffered a smaller one that clips over her hand...

I just want an Arcee, be it the 1st Edition or the Mainline version I don't really care - I just want an effigy of Transformers: Prime, Arcee. :cool:

Agreed, the new one isn't 'perfect' but from the looks of things; said wings don't appear to be as hindering as the previous ones but again this could only really be determined once in hand eh? :)

Today's reveal is the Decepticon Driller playset (with Knockout) (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=269802993089902&set=a.153259298077606.36631.146805978722938&type=1). We saw this on the German Toyfair Catalogue scan, but this is a better version. Pity they are only revealing one mode of each of these toys.

Not only are it's proportions way off (very top-heavy with tiny legs), have you tried playing/converting one? It's one of the more frustrating of the FE Deluxes. Cliffjumper and Arcee were better, but they're the ones they are releasing second versions of in the regular series... RID Bbee is effectively just being re-released, when I think IT should be the one with a new toy.

Today's reveal is not a TFPrime toy... well, it is a TF Prime toy, but just not a toy in the TFPrime series... :p

So much for the "revealing" of (new) toys. no i havent had the chance to play with any of the prime toys yet or see them in real life only pics. hopefully i get to see some next weekend :)

We learnt the new name for "leader class" from the UK Toy Fair a few weeks ago. It's not actually that confusing: Leaders have pop up weapons, Voyagers have powered up weapons, Deluxes reveal the head during transformation. :rolleyes: Makes more sense than Super-con, Max-con or Combat class.
