Something I'm very interested to learn from that interview is:


The four remaining characters will have the traditional robot and vehicle forms, with the added ability to transform into any of Bruticus' limbs, all without relying on extraneous toy bits (foot plates, fists).

That's an unexpected touch!

If the toys can capture the feel (if not the exact designs) of theses shots, I'll be very impressed. Liking the new colour schemes and the FoC/WfC extra glowing panels work on these designs.

bruticus' head is just a bit too high up from actually having a neck i think

the concept art for bruticus exudes crazy power but the actually in game design looks off. he looks shorter and like a dwarf...

the individual robot modes looks really good though and lol at the background image of starscream...

Whilst he may not be 'Everybody's Favourite', he's certainly popular (Possibly the most) and at any rate he certainly is with Hasbro considering the vast amount of issues this character(s) has received in toys/figures; more than any other combining team besides Devastator. ;)

That's how I reconciled the line; personally, my Favourite would have to be Predaking - closely followed equally by Devastator and Menasor. :D

It'll be really interesting to see if the new Generations figures will encompass other Gestalt teams, which I'm dead sure they're going to, with the ability to achieve such a thing in their engineering - That'd be awesome IMO and I can see why it's also piqued Paulbot's curiosity too. ;):cool:

We had to wait 25 years post G1 to get accurate toys for Windcharger, Brawn, Cyclonus etc. By that rational, it will be 2037 by the time we get 100% accurate toys based on FOC ;) :p

If only the toys looked more like the character models..

Looking at the in game concept art/models, the first thing that came to mind was "Oh sweet, my first retail purchase in years".

...but then I looked at the photos of the toys. Whoopy is displeased. The shoulder/thigh extensions that link Onslaught to the limbs makes everything look disjointed and disproportionate.

Looks and feels like the Powercore combiners to me :(
