From the Kotaku website (http://kotaku.com/5885074/high-moon-just-cant-handle-a-pc-version-of-transformers-fall-of-cybertron), with extracts here (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/high-moon-comments-on-why-no-pc-version-of-transformers-fall-of-cybertron/24030/), Highmoon (who are doing the Fall of Cybertron game this year), have come out to justify why there is no PC version.
Short answer - their limited expertise and resources would have ended up with a poor version that would have created more criticism than not having one at all.

It's not going to appease anyone though, as they are effectively prioritising certain versions to make them better products, expecting to sell more of 2 great products than 3 mediocre products.

Whilst this particular interview is new, I don't believe the information itself is Griffin as almost everything Tiege says here is word for word what he said quite a while ago now; hence why I didn't bother posting it in the main TF: FoC thread myself last night, as I was quite befuddled as to why Seibertron was reporting on already known info?
(In fairness though, Kotaku are really the ones behind on this issue :p)

Yeah, Hursti is right. Tieger mentioned why there is no PC release last year and nothing that we didn't already know has been reported in that article. This isn't news at all.

Personally, I didn't mind the PC version of WFC at all. Yeah, it had silly limitations such as a lack of control customization and no joypad options but overall, it didn't impede you from playing and enjoying the game if you were willing to stick with the traditional keyboard + mouse FPS configuration which I prefer over a joypad anyways as do most PC gamers.

The Arkham City PC release also has similar flaws and nobody really complained about it. For some reason, they decided to only support the Xbox controller for the PC otherwise you were stuck with the keyboard+mouse combo which most PC gamers would have preferred anyways.

Pity, but as has been said, old news.

I'm not buying a TV and game console just to play FoC though, so guess it's yet another TF game I won't be buying.

What sort of internet speeds do you get with smoke and drums these days?

That's probably the first time anyone's ever called Osaka an Amish Paradise.:D

Basically, I can't really understand what they're saying on any of the TV shows here and there's just not many of the awesome, sadistic, crazy game shows Japan used to get on air these days, so I'm just using the computer for my viewing and gaming needs. A TV is too expensive to buy and not really use.
On an officially-unrelated note, the internet speed here is pretty good.

Ah, whatevs. I still haven't gotten to play WfC, since the developer elected to make the keymapping non-editable, which screwed over we left-handers.

Yeah that is indeed a bummer.

Maybe something like this which you can easily reposition left or right be more useful:
