Two articles in the last few days about Simon Furman - one detailing the scope of the upcoming Regeneration comic series (http://www.allspark.com/content/view/10004/16/) (that follows on from #80 of the original series), and one about the Beast Wars comic (http://simonfurman.wordpress.com/2012/02/20/beast-wars-the-unpublished/) he was writing for Dreamwave which never saw print before they folded.

He mentions that the unprinted Beast Wars story will be revealed in a partial format from the scripts and artwork they had done before Dreamwave folded (the whole first issue was drawn, but I can't tell if he has access to that to include it in what he is selling)... at various TFs conventions this year. So if he attends BotCon this year, he should be selling copies there, otherwise, there are other fan-conventions he will be at.
This is great news, following on from him revealing last year the plots for the rest of the Age of Wrath story that didn't get printed.

Well, I for one never expected to see the Cosmic Carnival revisited!

Well, aside from the 4 part Micromaster story I've never really given a lot of attention to Dreamwave narratively compared to it's art. ;)
Any talk of Beast Wars though is a good thing IMO, but I will say I'm glad that he took the direction he did in IDW as I don't think Primal & Co. coming back to earth would've sat too well unless it were really well done.

I'd be interested to have a flick through the BW issue, but I agree with you Hursty, from what we know of the story, the direction was better served with The Gathering. Shame The Ascending went to pot.
