Well, Im just a bit sad coz my most accessible Target stores are sooooooooo slow in getting anything (the TF shelves was bare) so I had to settle in getting some fix at Kmart - which thankfully has some Vehicons. So ive got a total of 6 now :D:D:D. Still hoping to spot Screamer, Megs and Bulky.... hopefully on a sale coz yeah - kinda steep priced aren't they for such small figures- they should've been just oh $10 max really. Siiigh :(

Ever said that to yourself? :rolleyes: Five minutes later and your grabbing every Starscream on the shelf, examining each one like you're John Benjamin with a rare diamond ring on Antiques Roadshow. It's bought. And then you're so excited with your purchase (which you never intended to actually buy of course) that when you do buy your late dinner, you leave your credit card in the machine at Coles. >_<*

Once I've opened them mate, I'll scan each one and whack 'em up but I think I might have to place a watermark on them - Photobucket had a go at me for posting a pic of a store-bought Iron Maiden CD, saying that Iron Maiden's lawyers had contacted them about the supposed 'Copyright Infringement'!?! :confused:

This lead me to 2 thoughts:

Evidently, the promotion of purchasing their Music via a proper legal means meant less than the supposed potential loss of some cover-art revenue? :confused::rolleyes:
Iron Maiden's Execs lurk on an Australian Transformers Fan Forum (The only place I posted the pic), making me very pleased for Griffin as his site is apparently attracting some rather notable clientèle. :D

Even though his transformation isn't terribly involving; Leader Class Megatron is rather cool indeed and surprisingly capable of a number of poses too for having such oddly proportioned legs and bulk - He's ten tonnes of fun that's for sure! ;):cool:

I found mine on eBay for $64 w/ Free Shipping, draw back is though that it took literally a month to arrive but this was made known by the seller before the completion of the transaction. ;):)
The stand holding Laserbeak was recommended to me by Liege Prime and is what is known as an Obitsu Doll Stand, here's a review (http://www.infinitehollywood.com/2010/08/obitsu-figure-stand-review.html) dude. :)

Glad to hear it dude, his HA iteration is far superior to his Deluxe version as he doesn't feel as fragile as paper, avoids horrible shoulder construction and doesn't suffer for having a stupidly gimmick laden weapon. ;)

HA Soundwave I found to be utterly enjoyable to transform and greatly more intuitive (A major contrast compared to my experience with the Deluxe :rolleyes:) but whilst he may have slightly kibbly upper arms/shoulders, he certainly is no slouch - As can be seen here (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=10100&page=73). ;):cool:

Half the fun of G1 figures, IMO, is applying the stickers (As I've discussed with Heroic Decepticon over on his Blog (http://heroicdecepticon.blogspot.com.au/)) and I really should get my act together on acquiring some Reprolabels for my figures so as to give them a new lease on life. ;):)

Yeah - to be fair, it was a decent discount. And if the $45 is correct, then the 25% will take it to something close to what you paid anyway.

As a (only recently) former retail employee (and of said store) I get a little frustrated at people who seemingly applaud themselves for their victories over the "rorting retail stores" or the "stupid retail staff".

And, in the interest of full disclosure I've sometimes pushed the boundaries myself - a sale finished on Transformers the day before I got to the store, but tags were still up. Knowing what the dates on the tags mean, I knew the store would be within their rights to not sell me them at sale price, but I pushed, and I got the sale price.

But, that's enough of my derailing of the topic. :)

Tried to remove the sticker. Its on there good and leaves a residue. Any ideas what the best residue remover is which wont ruin the card? Ive tried metho..didnt work!!

I would recommend once you've removed the sticker slowly (peel at 90 degrees to the surface) you should get hold of some eucalyptus oil, use with a tissue or sometihing. and use sparingly at first. it will soak into the card if you use too much.

I looked at the back... What the hell is that god awful large white sticker covering up all the art at the back??....Talk about pi$$ed.:mad: Still love the figure though.
Yeah, all TFs from China have those stickers -- it's Hasbro China's legal blurb. No idea why they needed to make it so freakin' huge though. :rolleyes: I'm surprised to see it on a United toy though -- China's a Hasbro market, not TakaraTOMY. Looks like Hasbro China managed to get that toy in as a special import (much like what Hasbro Australia did for our market with Jetwing Optimus Prime and Masterpiece Ultra Magnus).

A lot of American toy collectors use an oil-based cleaner called Goo Gone, but I've never seen it here. Mind you, I've never tried looking for it either -- check out your local hardware or automotive stores. Not sure if melamine cleaners would be too abrasive or not on a card...

On your 2nd picture
The little green box is G2 Megatron's (green tank in first pic) big light accessory fits in a slot in his big rail cannon and the gun next to it ( pointy looking one) is his hand gun. The black foot plate below it belongs to Gestalt Landcross (G1 Jap continuity) it's either Tacker or Tackle's accessory. The dual missle launcher next to the 2 Predaking guns belong to micromaster Groundshaker's ATV vehicle/platform. Hope this helps. Sorry for the lack of pics or link Im not good at it :p

Awesome haul there! luv em minicons...the A10 is a minicon charater on his own. he belongs to a 3 pack group (clear skies or something like that)- a Minicon Patrol if you will.:)

Nice idea TB, if I could find the two pack anywhere near me, Id consider the screamer figure there the prolly the same then - it has a different paint scheme to the single Voyager version does it? When you get the chance though can you post up comparison pics please. Thanks.:)

As for me Thanks to Gok for getting me a Cyberverse Commander BUlkhead - yaaaay now all my littluns are complete until the next wave arrives for collecting - cute toy but I dont get the clear plastics on the chest - it doesnt need it at all.

St Marys Target. Only one there, and looked like it may have been there only one as it was shoved in the only available space infront of some dotm Leadfoot/Ironhide packs. As it was overhanging the shelf I assume there wasn't any others there.

Bought RID Wheeljack and Soundwave today. Really didn't want to because i'm silently protesting the small scale of the figures and high price, but when i saw Wheeljack in the flesh, he just looked too good to pass up. Bought Soundwave simply because he is short packed.
