This is going to be difficult to obtain first-hand, as Amazon Japan don't usually ship toys outside of Japan. (a bit like Amazon US - but they made an exception for Unicron last year)

Release details have been posted up here (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/japanese-transformers-40/masterpiece-sunstorm-official-images-release-date-confirmed-amazon-japan-exclusive-174583/), from the Amazon.jp page:

Date - August 25 2012
Cost - 13,650 yen (about AU$160)


I couldn't see anything on the product page saying that it was restricted to JP purchases only, but if someone already has an account with Amazon.jp, let us know if it allows you to pre-order it to a non-JP address.

Hopefully he'll see a release in the Hong Kong distributive region, that way RobotKingdom will pick it up and we'll then have an outlet besides eBay. :o

I don't like the yellow color and would have preferred him to be more orange like the Ehobby repaint or the DW comic or even the iGear knock off.

I will wait to see if Hasbro releases one with better colors otherwise no MP Sunstorm for me.

I agree the colours do seem a little muted, I wouldn't think Hasbro will release this one will they being a limited release?

It's happened before. It may not be exactly the same but it could still be the character only in the correct orange colors.

Not too hard to skip unless they come out with MP Ramjet, Thrust and Dirge as well. :o
