Activision may be producing the highly anticipated Fall of Cybertron game in the 3rd quarter of this year, but around the same time, they will also be releasing a Transformers Prime game for Nintendo (Wii, DS & 3DS).

You can see the details and a promo video here (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/activision-and-hasbro-team-up-to-create-transformers-prime-video-game-based-on-the-hit-television-series/24296/).

Not happy about it being an exclusive format release, that excludes Sony and Microsoft (both PC & Xbox). Not having resources to produce PC versions is one thing, but not producing several versions due to exclusivity... won't win too many fans.

Hmm, It wouldn't surprise me that they went this way due to the lack of power in Nintendos consoles, the simpler Prime graphics would probably look better than a cut down WFC and since there are probably a younger audience for the Wii, it makes more financial sense.

Nintendo, Sony and Microoft always want ot have the exclusive to their console games, so It probably isn't all that much of a drama and most people should be used to it now, afterall, we aren't surprised to see Mario on only Nintendo anymore (I know bad example...).

But I still stand by my point that a Prime game would play better to the resources of the wii than a cut down FOC.

I'll get a copy for DS. If it's going to be exclusively Nintendo, chances are the Prime game will be lower budget and quality than FOC. Not to diss Nintendo but a game suited to the Wii would probably feel disappointing on a high power system.

Having said that, if it came out on Xbox I'd still grab it :D

Prime solidarity, yo. ;)
