One - it's not a gameplay trailer, and secondly - I feel very underwhelmed after watching that. I don't think it's because I had high expectations as I haven't really followed the development as I did with WFC, it's just a very ordinary trailer IMO.

On a side note, the music reminds me of the trailer for DOTM.

the trailer is not game play as such but more of in game type footage, it gives us some more insight on the game. I'm personally excited for this game and will happily receive more info as its released :)
And yes the background music is dotm esk

I don't think you watched the same trailer as me. OMG this was epic! I am gonna take a week off work to play this bad boy! It looks that good. And I can't wait for the toys

yeah im looking forward to it too. I dont think they'll be releasing it on PC though :( so i have to get it on PS3

I agree, I was also underwhelmed. The 1 second cuts did not allow us to see much so it hasn't really done anything to increased my excitement on the game, on the contrary, it is now a little down because I was looking forward to a "Gameplay Trailer" which this is not.


On a side note, the music reminds me of the trailer for DOTM.

I reckon that it was a bad attempt at mimicking a Bay trailer. To give credit where it's due, the trailers for all Bayformer movies were very good and helped a lot to increase the hype while this 'gameplay' trailer was actually very underwhelming.

yeah - it doesnt really seem to be any different from the WFC game. but hey maybe the gameplay works out to be better.

I feel sorry for all if you buy from JB.

It is usually cheaper in Aus at Dungeon Crawl - they are pretty cheap.

Yes tThere are plenty of other options to buy games, and WFC has been discounted to $20 if people are patient, but this was the first time I'd seen it locally listed for preorder. Most stores will discount a new release lower than that price when they come out too if people want to buy locally (and not pick up a Euro or Asian copy).

Jbs release date says 30/09, yet the trailer said August? Or was that crazy yankee dates? Hm, might have to watch it again.

I would hold off on preordering though, hopefully a nice sexy collector's edition with that art book that went to some journos will show its face.

if it makes you feel better, it was my birthday on 31/03 and my missus went me halves in a Tfc Hercules which is awesome. Problem is i have to wait till they restock before they dispatch them, which means i wont get it for another few weeks probably... :( it was ordered in feb. I hate waiting too
