Optimus the Assassin!

I dunno if this is allowed or not, but I was fiddling with my Powerizer Optimus Prime when I decided to take Wheeljack's swords and give them to the toy. Tried a few poses and found out I couldn't actually do the ones I really wanted due to the limited movement of the toy itself.

Then I tried one pose that came from TMNT Leonardo from the 2003 series, and the pose turned out... excellent! Better than I had hoped! I decided to call this Samurai Optimus Prime just for the sake of fun. Never thought Wheeljack's swords would come in handy!

Hmmm, a part of me was thinking about using this pose for a cover of a comic I'm thinking about working on in the distant future. The problem is needing the right toys, tools, and a good script in order for it to work...

Oh well, we'll see.

Yeah, needs TMNT stuff. XD Although the swords seem to fit nicely into his backpack cape thingie.

I think Bludgeon would make a better Samurai. :) Out of the TF Prime toys, I'd stay with Wheeljack -- he's already very Drift^Samurai-like as it is. :)

Tetchan: I think this Optimus Prime wouldn't be a good ninja because:
#1: Optimus Prime is all noble and honourable and crap... ninjas sneak around in shadows and stab you in the back. ;)

^Eh, probably not. I'm not an expert on japanese stuff. The only ones I know who dual wield are ninjas like Leonardo from TMNT.

the swords fit remarkably well for scale.
Not convinced about the samurai thing, maybe you could source one of those shattered glass soundwave headbands from this years botcon.

Hmmm. by that reply link Gok you said ROTF Bludgeon has 3 swords, didnt he have only 2? I see also what you mean about fghting with two long swords, I guess it would be easier if it were butterfly swords which are both shorter, easier to wave around without slicing yourself :D
