Looks like July is shaping up to be a HUGE month (http://www.seibertron.com/news/view.php?id=24559) for Transformers comics, and related comics, from IDW.

July will have the usual issue of each of the current ongoing series (MTMTE & RID - #7 of each), PLUS...

- the launch of the Regeneration One comic (noted as #81)

Transformers: Regeneration One 100-Page Spectacular
Reprinting THE TRANSFORMERS #76-80, to catch up readers for #81.

Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Vol. 1
124 pages, so should be the first 6 issues of RID... or first 5 if it includes a bit of extra material like artwork or covers.

Transformers: Autocracy
All twelve issues of the digital-exclusive comic, printed for the first time, as a compilation, of 120 pages (each digital issue was only 10 pages I think)j

Infestation 2, Vol. 2
As with the first Infestation mini-series, this second series has been compiled into two volumes of TPBs. The second volume has the Transformers issues in it, in the world of "Hearts of Steel".

Battle Beasts #1 (of 4)
Another 80s icon/franchise gets a relaunch... and this one has loose ties to Transformers. As part of its launch in Japan in the late 80s, "Battle Beasts" was featured in a couple episodes of the Headmasters cartoon, and packaged under the Transformers Banner. In America it was it's own separate toyline & universe.
But this comic is just featuring a relaunch of the toyline... coming out later this year by Ark Asylum. Press Release of the new toys and comic can be found here (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/diamond-selects-comics-and-idw-bringing-back-the-battle-beasts/24547/).

It's just another average day for Bliss, an ignored linguist at the Department of Defense. However, when Bliss unlocks the secret translation of an ancient scroll, terror rains from the sky... in the form of the BATTLE BEASTS! Unstoppable creatures armed to the teeth, the Battle Beasts are determined to make Earth their own personal war zone. Nothing can stop their merciless carnage. Nothing except perhaps a gentle word from the one woman who can understand them—Bliss!

And while we are on the topic of IDW, continuing their HUGE month, are a number of GIJoe titles that may be of interest to fans here.

Classic G.I. JOE, Vol. 15
After 10 years since the first Volume was released, the final volume of the original series of GIJoe comics is now on its way in July... 30 years after the first issue was released in June 1982 (almost perfectly timed). Covers issues #146-155.

G.I. JOE: Disavowed, Vol. 6
The "Disavowed" series is the retconned name for the Image/Devils Due series produced 10 years ago. It was officially announced by Hasbro to be in-universe (follow on) canon of the original series of the 80s, but then when IDW got the comic license, Hasbro then went on the record to say that it wasn't, so that IDW could relaunch their classic GIJoe comic with Larry Hama at the helm.
So now IDW have been releasing TPBs of Devils Due's "continuation that is now not a continuation", with one more volume after this one to finish off the 42 issues. So if you follow the original GIJoe comic, this is one of two alternate universes from that 155 issue series.

G.I.JOE: A Real American Hero #180
And this is the other alternate universe, that follows on from the original 155 issue series (following on the issue numbers as well, like the Transformers Regeneration One comic does). Written by Larry Hama (the Furman & Budiansky of GIJoe), so is seen to be "more canon" than the Devils Due continuation.

(hope this was more education than sidetracking, on the world of classic GIJoe - which has its ties to Transformers, being the Universe that had two crossovers during the 80s & 90s)

While on the topic of Battle Beasts... Until we know for sure if it is going to be related to Transformers again like it was in Japan in the 80s... the relaunch mentioned above is also going to be happening in Japan (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/takaratomy-resurrects-the-battle-beasts-beast-saga-preorders-at-robotkingdom/24613/). And we get a look at some of the figures, manga comic and gaming gimmicks.
