Live messenger issue

Ok, so I like a chat on messenger, but often when sent a link, I click it and go to some BS 'protect yourself' screen, which I need to confirm I want to go to before I can go.

Usually its a link I know, but I can't work out how to turn that damn screen off!! Its driving me insane! Any ideas?

Maybe check your security settings in the options tab? I haven't done an update for a while after having the last update mess up all my settings (and links wouldn't show as active, so I would have to copy and paste them into a browser)... so maybe it's just something standard with a newer version of Messenger? Mine just has a note in the Messenger window reminding me to be careful of links - it never comes up as a separate screen requiring confirmation.
