The sound isn't the best but it's good enough.
I guess this episode is the answer to the lack of the kids and Agent Fowler from 'Armada'.
It was nice to see Knockout again and Soundwave actually doing something apart from just standing in the background.;)
One negative would be that now at least four future episodes may centralize around a mcguffin.

It was bound to happen. :p
The pacing of this episode was excellent, a suitable story too but unfortunately there was a bit of a giant 'black' elephant in the room (One referenced in a certain novel who was clearly avoided by the writers 'just in case' ;)).
*Spoilers:
Indeed it was great to see Knock Out and Soundwave again; loved Knock Out's advisal to Megatron that Dark Energon has proven to be dodgy although it was ultimately ignored and Soundwave was putting his skills to excellent use although he too copped the raw end of the tendril. :o:p
It was good to see the kids and Fowler get some air time too; Nothing over the top for any of them and it was great to see Jack taking the lead again, especially in lieu of Fowler (Who nails being groggy hilariously! :D).
I also liked that they had learnt not to take an Earthen USB stick to do the job of a Cybertronian one, though I'm suprised that the ship wasn't actively employing basic external memory security but heh - What do I know? ;)
I'll say it now though... Hello!?! - Trypticon?
The voice was perfect, the character was perfect, the references to back-story was quite sufficient - So where was the name drop?; oh Hasbro/Writers... How you tease us! :)
Also interesting to note that the Insecticons are onboard the ship; Are they all on the ship or just a few chosen individuals?, quite a bit of liberal use of security systems (Re: Stasis everything! :D) that weren't known about either. ;)
I continue to really enjoy this series and I still hate having to wait each week for a new episode! :D:cool:

The stories are getting better now, I guess the writer's needed a bit of a break indeed, LOL
Hmmm Im kinda hoping that they make a Cyberverse playset of the Decepticon ship:)
I wonder if this explains as well the Cyberverse armour for Bbee and Prime - as one of those "artifacts"

An enjoyable episode. :) The scene where the Autobots are playing grid iron with the Spark Extractor and trying to dodge the stasis beam was intense.
Something that bugs me, and I gotta say, Michael Bay did it better in this regard... why are human authorities just sitting on their laurels with an alien threat on their doorstep? When Jack suggested that they should try to board the Decepticon ship, surely the logical conclusion would be for Fowler to contact the Pentagon, then they could organise a tactical strike team to rendezvous with Fowler and then groundbridge Fowler and that spec ops team aboard the Deceps' ship. And when Fowler saw that the ship was heading toward Manhattan, why didn't he call his superiors? They could mobilise the air force and try to shoot the blasted ship out of the sky before it reaches Manhattan and threatens to kill millions of civilians. There may even be a naval vessel nearby with an experimental rail gun aboard... that'd be awfully convenient. :p
Interesting to see Bob Skir return to writing Transformers considering the incredible controversy his previous TF works caused; although it wasn't entirely his doing... but sadly he managed to cop almost all of the blame and hate from the fandom. Even death threats (http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Beast_Machines_%28cartoon%29#Reception) were directed toward him. :(

Just watched the latest episodes, and my first thought when the Decepticon warship was infused with Dark Energon - they were going to introduce Trypticon (because DE brings things back to life). But then I thought... surely I would have heard about it online or at BotCon by now, because there would be demands for a toy.
As the episode progressed, I started thinking that it was either Megatron or Unicron's personality that had taken over (like the Starscream Clones), but even that didn't end up being confirmed as the case... so I think it has been left up to fans or a future episode to determine who or what that was speaking.
A couple of plot holes though...
- the air strike should have occurred automatically the second the ship crashed.
- how can that big ship (or the insecticon swarm in the episode before), not be seen by humans after all the years it has been on Earth? It's only invisible to scanning/radar, not invisible to the eyes.
- Ratchet should have destroyed the computer with the Iacon database on it. Even if they have a copy elsewhere, the recent search results may have been lost, giving the Autobots the advantage.
Again, so much cybertronian junk on Earth - ships, artifacts, insecticons... it's like their planet is 5 meters away, and we're their wheelie bin.

And zombies. Don't forget the zombies. Oh, and Skyquake... and Unicron. :p Man... Earth is like some kinda of super-magnet for Cybertronian badness!!

Interesting that infusing the ship with DE caused it to get a personality. Hopefully later they will decide that it had a dormant spark or something and then we can get some Trypticon action going on!
One thing that bugged me, Megatron blabs about him having dorect control over the ship once it's infused, but at the start, he is still yelling orders to the vehicons to fly it and stuff. So, Megatron has the same control as he had before...
I look forward to a Knockout/Ratchet biffo episode!:D
